Disney Vacation Account question

I know that you have to have your account for 120 days before you can earn the $20 GC's, but if I make a deposit to it today, can I make a payment tomorrow or does the money actually have to be IN there for 120 days. I am a little confused. I am right at that point of the 120 days so I have to make quick decisions...lol
