Disney Vacation Account program is ending

I'm really sad too, we're about a month out from booking our trip and this was one of several gift card "deals" I had worked out to save us money.

I got my email too, and I'm really sad. It was the perfect way to apply those bajillion Disney gift cards as payment. I wonder what will happen now? Will they have a new program?

Well you can combine gift cards using Disney gift cards.com, at least up to $1,000 per gift card, so that does reduce the number of cards you have to use a little.

I haven't received an email yet. I am exactly half way into saving for May 2018 trip to Alaska. I suppose I need to do some math and figure out whether 5% is better than the $899 deal.

Under option 1, click the "purchase disney gift card". I did it yesterday and when I received the gift card the 5%was included. I had less than $3000 in my account and was given 2 gift cards.

I think it was purchase disney gift card. I think the refund is they where they mail you a check.

Anyone still having difficulty accessing their DVA? I posted yesterday regarding the same issue. I have tried at all different times of day/night. I've spoken to two different people, all telling me that they are aware of the issue. If they issue me the balance on a gift card, they can't give me the bonus over the phone. Just getting frustrated trying to do this.

Go to Disneygiftcard.com and combine them into 2 cards. One for $1000 and one for $650. Your travel agent will thank you. (And it makes things easier for you as you then only have to keep up with 2 in case of any refunds.)

That's lame - I did great on my last cruise, to the point that I was planning to start a new account with my husband's info to make sure we could get the full redemption again next time!

On the plus side, I have a balance of $0.87, and I read somewhere that the 2% bonus was subject to a minimum of $5. So I'm hoping I get a gift card of $5.87

Okay, it's been 3 days of trying numerous times/day to get the web page to work. I'm beyond frustrated! I just want my gift card + 5%! No one on the phones seem to be able to help. Just being told that "they are aware there are issues with the web site". Can't they sprinkle a little Disney Magic to get this to work for everyone???? They had to expect most people trying to get the bonus! Any tricks that might help???? I just found the e-mail for Customer Service---somehow I think I'll get the same response!
