Disney Vacation Account for flights?

So, I am hoping to book our flights also with Disney for our trip next summer. Can I use my funds in my Disney Vacation account to pay for the flight tickets also? And if so, do I have to pay for the flight tickets in full when I want to purchase those flight tickets?
I had called Disney yesterday morning for kicks to see what the cost of plane tickets would be, but totally forgot to ask.
