Disney Vac Club phone call

Hi! I am staying at the Beach Club Resort and made my requests last week. I am NOT staying at a DVC villa. However, today, I got a call from a number identifying as Disney Vac Club. I didn't answer because I was at work and had my phone silenced. Then I got busy and forgot all about it. Do you think it is something legit or important to my upcoming trip? Does this happen sometimes? My husband said I may have put in some wrong information, but I don't think so because we aren't staying at a DVC resort. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen.

Yes they have been calling from WDW DVC and saying something like: I see you have an upcoming trip with an offer of $250 Gift card for 30 minute introduction to DVC. Or they may want to send you a "Gift" - a window decal/big sticker with an informational booklet.

If you want to just verify your resort reservation requests call main reservations at 1-407-934-7639. The CM can read back your requests that are noted on your reservation.

Thank you! This is a family (short) trip so we probably wouldn’t go in a DVC tour, but my husband and I are going back a couple of weeks later and can do it then. It’s going to be a chill week when the two of us go. Last time we toured the Riviera, which I liked but the beach club is our favorite. It’s too bad the contract is only good until 2042 or something like that.
