2026 MMB info Announced

Where can I read and understand what this program is? I'm confused is this a add on of some kind? I have been a DVC member for last 20 years and have a upcoming trip.

Go to the membership website and you can find information about the Membership Magic Beyond program.

On the member website, it's under Offers & Benefits (at the top), then click "Take your experience further with Membership Magic Beyond"

Thx! I bought the 24 points to free up points for the annual pass. I guess I’m ambivalent on whether to rent my points or buy 4 annual passes…. It seems like you’re getting AP’s for $15.6 per point which honestly isn’t terrible. It’s just that 4 AP’s will cost 300 pts, which we have to spare.

Even if I rent out points for $18, that’s $3.3 or $990 over the $15.6. My only concern is the “commercial renting” clause. Are they going after ppl yet?

I second using points. For me, just not dealing with rental and taxes is worth a few dollars less per point.

There is a whole thread about taxes but with doing the AP swap through DVC you should be able to not have to worry about it and to me that is worth the $3.30 a point.

Here is a little info about the Aulani 8x10" photo. You go to Hoku Hideaway (DVC sales area) and they scan your digital membership to make sure you have MMB. You can do this at any time in your trip; even before you've taken any photos. Then they give you a coupon that you'll take to Photo Services. When you visit, they'll take your coupon, let you select a picture, and then print it out for you. So far this trip, I just got my photo coupon, but haven't visited photo services.

The CM in Hoku Hideaway told me that photos during the Luau or character dining breakfast aren't allowed for this perk.

This would make me really mad and I would fight them on that. There is no mention of any restrictions on this benefit on the MMB site. I’m going to be there in 2 weeks and was hoping to use this benefit, but will not be happy if they try and put restrictions on it.

Receive an 8x10 photo print during your stay at AULANI, Disney Vacation Club® Villas, Ko Olina, Hawai‛i. For instructions on how to take advantage of this benefit, visit Hoku Hideaway after enrollment in Membership Magic Beyond.

I guess the restrictions are told in person as @Flash_Sloth reported.

I also would be a little irritated with that as it should work with any photo that shows up in the photopass system.

I understand that but I have been in in depth conversations about this with DVC management who is in charge of all of this.

Owners are allowed to rent and when you agree to the T and C you are agreeing that you are not using the membership for a commercial reason

DVC can not legally prevent an owner from renting and they themselves do not consider personal use to be simply the owner.

And, renting to someone you do not know is still allowed as long as the number of reservations you hold don’t rise to the level that they feel you are now using the membership as a commercial enterprise.

They are not going after owners who have a few reservations on their membership every year in the names of others.

I bought it for 2025 and we were able to use the 3 day DL park tickets. I compared it to the Costco tickets and for us, the MMB tickets were cheaper. But those particular tickets only make sense for those who are able to go during the week vs weekend.

I’ll be buying it for 2026. We are going to WDW and it’s worth it for the magic maker (we are not annual pass members).
Im thinking of paying for the MMB and getting the MMB Tickets 3day DL park tickets for 2 adults and 1 child for 2026.
Has anyone done the general math to see if its worth it?

The T and C do indeed include the language that these are excluded.

I didn't do the math because I live in California and can get 3 day tickets on special that are a better offer. I've seen people post that the MMB tickets are generally 5-10% savings depending on the dates. If you are ONLY buying MMB for the discount tickets, I think you might be better off buying discount tickets from somewhere else (Unlocked Magic, Undercover Tourist, etc).
