They ran that special last summer - we got two adult and two child tickets for five days for $200 total. I think it ended last fall - we went in August last year. The specials change from time to time - it could be back!>>

You can still get this special on the UK site, good until 12/31/2007. I got it a couple weeks ago. You don't have to live in the UK. If you read the US/IOA boards you will see posts about it. It's a great deal!

Check out the Universal board. At the tp there is a section for deals. It has the link for the buy one adult get one child free. You only have until April to purchase the tickets.

We've done a split stay twice. Staying on-site is soooo worth it. We always stayed at Hard Rock (kids love the pool). I would suggest spending three nights there. One day for each of the parks, one relaxing day, and one 1/2 day to do over things you really liked. The younger kids liked the Barney Show, Woody Woodpecker's rollercoaster, ET, Curious George Water area, Jimmy Neutron, Shrek and the animal show. They liked eating at Margarittaville and the Hard Rock Cafe.

I have to agree. If you can at all swing it, stay onsite. It is so worth it.

We loved loved loved the Hard Rock. Kids were 2 and 4 then. what a wonderful hotel!!!
