Disney TV at Sears for $29! Better Hurry

I ordered mine on Sunday, have not yet to receive a cancellation email or a refund.

I ordered on Sunday. Received the order confirmation and it was to be available for pickup yesterday the 12th. I called my local sears yesterday to see if was there. They said it hadn't arrived yet and that they would check with the distribution center. They called me a couple of hours later and said it would be available for me to pickup on Friday. So we will see. The charge has gone through on my credit card and my order says processed, no cancellation notice yet. Also I received my sears rebate from ebates on the order.

Same here and I see they accepted my payment also. I am not scheduled to pick up till the 27th.

I received the email for order cancellation but clicked on Sears order status and my order is processed.? It would be a hoot if after sending all the email cancellations we would still get email pick-up notifications!!

ITA!! :rotfl2: I've paid and haven't received a refund so if I get a pick up notice I'll be heading to the store and act like :confused3 if they tell me my order was cancelled. That will be their own fault for screwing up over and over. :rolleyes:
 
My order status still shows "Processed" and that the TVs are due to be picked up on 10/25. I never received a cancellation e-mail. I ordered on Saturday morning, and was able to pick up my 2 TVs Sunday with a printout of my confirmation e-mail (I didn't wait for a pick up e-mail).

Here's the crazy part: I just received a refund even though I already picked up the TVs I ordered! :confused3

I wonder if it's because I went to another store to get the TVs since my nearest store (the one I originally had the order sent to said they would not be getting any TVs in...ever.) I also don't think the store ever swiped my CC when I picked up the TVs, because they were confused about how to handle it since my order was for the other store.

Has anyone else received a credit even though they already have their TVs? What did you do about it?
 
I ordered one of the tvs on Monday morning before work, received a confirmation email almost immediately and nothing so far since. The charge is on my cc with Monday's date on it. I'm not supposed to pick up until the 28th. Sears.com still shows processed. I wonder how many total orders they had for this. I'm just going to wait and see what happens.

Update: My order status has changed from "Processed" to "Cancelled". :confused3
 
:teeth: If disney made a mistake and had their 7 day hoppers on sale for 40 bucks how many would you buy? Would you give them back and say I'm sorry you made an error on your web site and heres the rest of your money?

my order status just changed from processed to processing, I have no idea what that means, I'm just going to wait it out with my fingers crossed
 
Just read on another site that someone got the cancellation email went to the Sears
store pickup area(not the electronics dept.) swiped the card and got the tv!!!
Don't know if it would work for ya'll but thought you might want the info!!
 
Merchandise Pick Up people don't care.. :)
 
Just got my response to the BBB complaint. Basically they are using their disclaimer and dont care about any of us. I figured that would happen but it only reinforces my bad opinion of how they handled this.

I did respond that I am disappointed in that they are taking the easy way out by referring to their disclaimer and that I wont shop there anymore. I doubt they even care

I got mine also this morning, and basically got the same response. They did say in my response that NO Tv's were sold at that price, and I told them to look at Ebay, and see how many were for sale new in the box. I also responded that I was not satisfied by stating that I still would like to know why they continued to advertise through Monday, and did not pull the Ad immediately, but they really don't care. They lost my business too.
 
Got my refund today & the same reply as everyone else to my complaint through the BBB. I responded and told them they took the easy way out on this. I also told them that there are a lot of businesses that honor their prices, error or not and those companies will be getting my money from here on out, not Sears. I also noted that I WILL be spreading the word about the service I received from their company to friends and family. BTW my order still shows processed on their website.
 
When I get my response,I can't wait to reply. My husband's family has a foundation and I'm in charge of getting bids for 34 32" LCD wall mount tvs for the classrooms of a local school. Guess which company is going to lose out on an order of approximately $50,000.00! There is another company that has a bid within $100.00 of Sears and I know the other company is honorable in their business dealings. Before I get flamed, I'm going to put up the difference between the two bids-it's worth it to me!! Of course to Sears $50,000.00 is probably peanuts but it's peanuts Sears won't be getting.
 
Just received my response. Here's my letter:
Dear Ms. Shoulders,
Many did not receive a prompt refund. Also, many received emails stating the reason their order was cancelled was because their credit card was declined. After calling the credit card companies it was found that the charge was in fact approved. I fail to find anywhere in your disclaimer the right to lie to a customer.
My husband's family has a foundation and I'm in charge of getting bids for 34 32" LCD wall mount tvs.Because,in my opinion, Sears acted in a dishonorable way, your company will not be considered. This means a loss of approximately
$50,000.00. I know that probably doesn't seem like a lot of money to a company like yours but consider too the many customers who are telling their families and friends of the shabby treament we feel we received from Sears.
On yet another point, my son who is an attorney has told me that because you falsely told people that their credit cards were declined you have opened yourselves to law suits.
In your terrible way,in my opinion,of dealing with this fiasco, you have lost the good will of many hundreds of customers
