Disney TV at Sears for $29! Better Hurry

I placed an order this morning and got a confirmation e mail to pick up at the store in two weeks. We haven't gotten anything canceling that order yet.... I keep checking, but so far nothing.
 
After reading this thread I thought I'd try my luck. I copied the page off sears.com and took it to my local Sears. I first made sure that they had one, they did. I took my paper to the electronics clerk and I thought he was going to have a heart attack. I asked him if he had to honor it and he looked at me...dumbfounded, and said, Yes, I do. :banana: :earseek: :banana: :Pinkbounc :banana: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :rotfl: :banana: He offered me the service plan for 4 dollars, and I took that too...lol. So, I'm going to the next town tomorrow to see if I can find any more and see what kind of luck I have. To those of you out there, copy the page and take it to your local Sears. It's only right that they honor the price they are advertising.

After some investigation, I did find a difference in my order and my mom's. We both went online to check the status. My order says "shipped", my mom's says "Processing"? :confused3
 

Well here is my story. I checked my order online and my email before going to the store to get it. When I got to Sears I waited over 5minutes to be told they no longer had them in stock and had been over sold. I spoke with a manager that stated they only had 4 in stock and sold approximately 6. This manager stated that the sale was valid, and a good one, but their inventory couldn't match the demand. The manager also stated it was a closeout item and they wouldn't be receiving any more in. He apologized and refunded my cc immediately. (I honestly think this guy was sorry, he was also very polite.) So I leave the store and drive back to my ILs. Once I cooled off I called sears.com and spoke to a girl who stated that it was a pricing error and they would not honor it. I proceeded to ask why I wasn't notified that my order was cancelled since it was 4.5 hours from when I placed my order to when I tried picked it up. She stated that it was my local store that sends me the email. She said the store will scan the item and send the email stating it was available for pick up. She also said it was up to my local store to honor the deal or not and she said they could order me one. So I called my local store to find out why I wasn't notified of the cancelation and the girl there apologized and doubled checked for me and still nothing. I then tell her what the girl from sears.com stated they could order one for me and now am waiting for a call back. I will let you know when I get the call, but I can guess the outcome, can you?
 
Just tried to order the Mickey TV. It was an error by Sears. They are cancelling all orders and will not honor the price!! Not sure if they can do that, but they are not allowing you to order.

I ordered mine about 11am this morning and received my order cancellation notice @ 4pm... :badpc:
 
Picked mine up at the store...read the story here this morning....tried my luck at the store at about 8:00 as we were in the neighborhood. Had two in stock so I purchased one. No issues at all and the 16 year old pimply salesperson didn't say anything about the price being an error. Thank god for the youth of America.
 
I'm glad that the page wasn't loading for me to put it into a shopping cart this morning. I would have been very bummed to receive the news. Instead I took it as a sign to save the $..But I did think about driving to Sears.
 
I was out shopping and went to Kmart also. Guess what they have in stock...the TV. So I ask the girl if since Sears and Kmart are the same will they honor the price since Sears is not in stock on-line. She told me to come tomorrow and speak to the Mgr. She didn't see why they wouldn't. So if you haven't tried Kmart..you many want to. The girl said the only problem she sees is that my online printout says "While supplies last"...

We picked ours up a few hours after ordering it. I hope that they can't charge our CC more than stated. It is way too heavy and we barely got it in the car. TOO Cute though, hopefully they can't charge more once you have the item.
 
I'm away and ordered via computer. I got my note this morning, telling me it was ready to pick up...and I just checked, and I didn't get a notice saying they didn't have it, or that it was a mistake. I'll know on Tuesday, when I go to pick it up.
 
Well they must have caught on because when I tried to click on the link for the TV it takes me no where. So there is no way that I can put it in my cart even. But I have to go to Sears tomorrow anyway so I will try at the store. Congrats to those of you that got this great deal.
 
I went to my Sears store today and was told that they do not honor internet pricing as they are a separate entity, but they would be glad to order me one for full price. If it was meant to be it would be...oh well.

We called the store close to us, got a really nice manager. He went online to verify what we were asking for, saw the TV. He didn't have any in stock but he ordered one for us, should be in on the 26th. My husband went down to the store last night and paid for it. (they wanted a sears card over the phone and we don't have one). We have a receipt/ I'm keeping my fingers crossed til I actually get it. Sure would make a nice xmas gift for our son.

We had already planned to get the princess one for our daughters' room....just waiting to see if we can find a good sale. We want the dvd player also. Did anyone else notice that they are coming out with a blue Cindy Tv? maybe they will mark down the pink ones.

I would also like to find the mickey boom box on sale for my son. Any ideas? I checked our sears...no luck.
 
Now you can order the Mickey TV on the Sears website again for $29.97. You can only order pick up and not delivery. Most stores have a pick up time of 17-19 days. Why would they fix the link and have it up again a day later if it was a price mistake? I ordered one yesterday for pick up but it has a store delivery date of 10/28 so I doubt I'll get it. We'll see.
 
I know. I don't get why it is still available to order at that price if they aren't honoring it. Seems crazy to me.
 
It wasnt on there as of 7am est and now it is as of 9:15 am est but only for in store delivery so I went ahead and ordered one for ds's bday. we will see if it works.. :confused3
