Disney TV at Sears for $29! Better Hurry

Yay, i just got one, too! Thanks OP!

But i still haven't rec'd the *confirming email* that i need to pick it up....???

Anyone else have a problem with that?

Oh, I forgot....My local sears is still stating this is a close out item and they will NOT be receiving any more in. Not sure what that is about since the website states they will arrive in 17-19 days.

Unfortunately I tried ordering it but the page keeps giving me an error when I click on the TV link..:( Then I called the store and they don't have any but said if I could order it online they may recieve one...NO clue what to do! My son has wanted this TV forever!

Ceecee, I knew that the TV's were listed at $29.00 and assumed that the additional money would be taxes and shipping. I do not know if the gentleman who took my order mumbled the "one hundred" and I did not hear it or if he said that the total was $42.00per set. I did however ask him about the $29.00 price before he took the orderand he said tht the price was $29.00.

I am upset that I was charged that amount of money and that the add today still says $29.00. :confused3

WHY the hades don't they fix this "error"????? It still comes up at the sale price. Sears sucks.

I just called sears.com to place a phone order and the csr said that they are in process to remove it from there site and that it's a pricing error. So no go for me again.

I called my local store and they had one. I went in to get it and the girl started to ring it up. Got to the point where they have to get a managers key because of the mark down. So the manager came out and said it was clearly an error and that the only way I could get it is if Sears.com lets me do the pick up and I put it on my credit card. I can then come in with the confirmation and they would honor it. Of course the website is again not letting us access it!! This morning I would have been able to do it but I didn't go that far because I wanted to pay cash - oh well. I did pick one up yesterday at another local store and they gave it to me. I wanted 1 for each of my kids but I guess 1 is better than none.

so they will honor the orders place on line? How long does it take remove it from the web site? They have known for 2 days that their web site had this information on it. Yesterday they block us from placing orders but today, opened it back up. Now they have blocked it again. Is this a case of fraud? If they had closed this thing yesterday and not opened it back up, I could go along with it as a mistake, but how many orders was taken today? A whole lot.

Not all stores will honor the price. Hopefully you'll be a lucky one!!

My dh got his confirmation to pick the tv up on Oct 28th. I really hope we get this because Christmas is going to be really tight this year because the place he works for is having non-paid shut-down days here for the next three months.

If they send me an email telling me to pick it up, it is a receipt and they can not withhold it from me. That is their rule..

All I know is that the store I went to said I could go home and place the order for pick up on line. Even though it says to pick up in 15-17 days I could go right back, after charging it online, and they would give me the one in the store.

I also ordered 1 online early yesterday morning and have not received any cancellation yet. I called my credit card company and they said there is a pending order for $52.35 (that's with tax & shipping). We'll see.

I know when I worked in retail they had to honor the price that it was advertised for. Wasn't there a glitch on the disney website recently regarding FL residents getting hotels for really cheap. I believe Disney honored that. I guess Sears is a different company and retail is a cut throat business with Walmart and Target around.

What would happen if we all kept our receipts and we all put in complaints to the BBB? Especially since they had it up, took it down, had it up - may seem like a little dishonesty going on. Should we try it??

We had already planned to get the princess one for our daughters' room....just waiting to see if we can find a good sale. We want the dvd player also. Did anyone else notice that they are coming out with a blue Cindy Tv? maybe they will mark down the pink ones.

If you can order another Mickey TV at some point you could pick it up and then bring it back and exchange it for a princess one.

this is what we are planning on doing with one of the 13" one we got. I think we'll take it to sears in the next town over.

Count me in, I am already planning on complaining tomorrow to the BBB. My husband called in and ordered another one, they gave him a comfirmation number, and then cancelled it again. They just need to yank it off the site. Period!

Are there other stores that will price match? If we showed the Sears ad, would they sell for that price? Anyone know who else might carry these?

We were able to order two about a hour & a half ago but still no email. How long did it take for your email to arrive?
