In the quest to get information about the future enhancemts of Pirates of the Caribbean, it has brought to my attention that they have a group of imagineers that are not exactly in the habit of designing FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT. Lindsay Lewis is one of the key Imagineers working with pirates and use to work assisting Alice Cooper in both the song writing department and stage design. For those familiar with Alice, I am sure you know the type of theming Lindsay may bring to Pirates of the Caribbean.

I met Lindsay at an event regarding Pirates of the Caribbean. He seemed like a nice guy, he is young and nice looking. In my opinion his plans seemed a little too dark for a Disney park attraction. It really does not matter now though, I guess Imagineering have already decided what they are going to do.

I am not sure if I agree with your thoughts, but I definately agree Lindsay is nice looking. I seen him at a event this past spring held for Pirates and he was very nice..... ::MinnieMo

Yes, Lindsay is very attractive, but the point is will his work be attractive to families and be light hearted enough for the general public.

There is not a picture guide to Disney Imagineers, but I am sure if you go to any Pirates of the Caribbean events or some Disneyanna events you may get a chance to see him. I did get some pictures from the last event. I may have one of him. If I was a Disney exec., I would probably say no to his dark designs, but only after I said yes if he asked me out. :teeth:

I asked Lindsay about Captain Sparrow. He did not say much, but the only thing he mentioned was that Jack is not the only character going in. He said it with a smile, which was very nice I must add.

Do you really think that the Disney imagineers will install theming in Pirates that's not appropriate for families?

I am not sure. Yesterday we were at the pirates attraction. They put new paintings in the que area. The paintings are in the room with the skeleton prisoners playing chess. I guess they are small hints of the changes coming to the attraction. They seemed very tasteful but did have a spark of dark mystery. Lindsay was not there. Too bad. :earsboy:

Cool.

Yes. I think the new enhancements will be ok for families. If Imagineering adds a little spice to Pirates, I see nothing wrong with it. I was also told about the paintings in the prison room. I guess they are suttle hints of upcoming additions. One was of a pirate ship and the other was of a young woman. I think they should also put paintings of the Imagineers, well, maybe just Lindsay. :rotfl:

I was given official word the new enhancements will be showing up at the atrraction little by little. Instead of shutting down the attraction and putting everything in at once, they are adding new features one at a time. This will allow them to do many overhalls during the times the park is closed. For you girls who are so interested in Lindsey, I also met him at a Pirate event and YES he is single. :cool1:

Does the original poster believe that if one worked for Alice Cooper at one time, that all one can produce are Alice Cooper clones? Come to think of it, what exactly is evil and anti-family about Alice Cooper's shows? This is an honest question, in that I have never attended one of these shows.

I googled the alleged hottie and did not see a picture....anyone care to share?

It is hard to get information on many of the imagineers through google. Like I mentioned, I did get some pictures from a Pirate event. I will try to see if I have one of him. He is tall blonde and very attractive. I is also pretty young. I would guess in his late 20s. :lovestruc

WOW! in his late 20s??? that is impressive. if he is only in his late 20s and is already known, at least for his "dark side"? that is pretty good. :goodvibes
