Disney Trivia...Let's Play!

no those aren't the right dates, Oddball27 has been the closest to the date so far......

Mousefan how about October 30 ... mischief night?

mousefan.... Ill guess either November 2nd (the day after All Saints Day) or Novermber 12th (the day after Veterans Day.)

:smooth:

I gotta go with MBabe and say Nov. 12.....

BTW...where is Madonna with the answer to her Mickey/Cupid question...or did I miss it??? I wanna know :) (actually...I am curious about that...)

 madonna, I'm with Higgs... I've been waiting patiently to hear your answer... I am guessed out on that one :)

:smooth:

:sunny: Good Morning! I'm with MBabe and Higgs curious about the cupid question!

/
mousefan... great question, it was a toughie.

What role was written into Mary Poppins after Walt saw the actor improvising to pass time?

:smooth:

sorry all...I didn't realize that you wanted to be told answers...I didn't hear a cry of *uncle* - but I guess now I should enlighten:

The reason that Disney choose to discontinue the *Cupid Mickey* is because he wasn't wearing any shoes. They decided that Mickey's little toes should never be revealed like that - his shoes are one of his trademarks (I have to admit, I used this wedding planner for my own and his feet did look rather funny!) :p

LOL...that is a great question Madonna....Mickey with no shoes...would have never guessed that...

Anyway...I have a guess on MBabe's question...

It was the role of the elderly banker played by Dick VanDyke...Walt saw him impersonating an old man...and wrote that into the script....:)

Higgs.... you are correct. Walt added the role of Mr. Dawes Sr. (the old man) after seeing Dick VanDyke impovising on the set to keep himself occupied :)

Looks like you are up....

OK...hmmmm...let's see...

A new question...

According to urban legend...when Walt Disney was building his studios...what did he say the buildings could be converted to if the company went under?

a Hospital????? believe I had read there were several different versions to this rumor, but honestly don't remember if it ended up the rumor was true or false...( getting old and you know the secon thing to go is memory, and don't remember what the first thing was)

LOL...Mousefan...your memory is fine:)

I was looking for hospital....

You're up :)

In Disney's Beauty and the Beast....Which song was originally scheduled to debut in the 1991 film animated version, but was dropped from the film, and eventually found its way into the Theatrical Production?

I've got to go with my friends MBabe and Madonna and say that it was "Human Again" :)
