24 days until we leave for Florida!

I wanted to make some sort of countdown for our last few weeks. Thinking of some sort of trivia game for my older kids. Any ideas how to work it out, and little prizes I could offer them?

I was thinking an extra pressed penny certificate, or little things like that?

We don't leave for a few months so we're not to the counting stage yet but subbing to see what great ideas our fellow DISers have!popcorn::

There is a ton of trivia out there (books and on the web). I did an email trivia for our traveling group (all adults) for this past trip which was DCL and the world; I had a much harder time finding random DCL facts about the Dream than I did for Disney World. The Disney Parks Blog is a great first hand account too. For us, the first correct response got a point (or several depending on the question). The person with the most points got a Mickey Bobble Head the night before we left.

For kids, you could do stickers, pins, small stuffed animals, Disney dollars, tshirts, etc. You could also make coupons: "Mickey Bar on demand," "your choice of ride/show," "you choose where we sit on the bus/boat/monorail," and other special things or even something you would have done anyway.

You could do a point system and the kids could "cash in for prizes." Think of an arcade--you could spend 2 points on a pencil or save for 20 points and get a stuffed animal.
