I just got the time to give feedback on our very 1st Disney Family Vacation and reviews of our Character Meals, etc... We arrived on Sunday, June 15th Fathers Day!! We have two daughters ages 4 and 8!!! Of course we were all very excited!! We had dinner at Chef Mickeys on Sunday evening. This was very good!! The character interaction was wonderful for the kids. We had Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Chip & Dale! Each one came around probably 3-4 times each during the time we were there! They do a very cute dance celebration several times! There is a buffet for the kids also. The food was good and the dessert buffet was the most fabulous of anywhere we went during the week. My four year old was so excited she barely ate anything, but dessert! The $$$ spent was well worth the excitement for the kids 1st Disney Dinner and character treat! On Monday we ate Dinner at the Crystal Palace. We had early PS for 4:30. I wanted to make sure we had time to get ready for the spectro parade and fireworks and not be rushed. My 4 year old walked a lot on Monday at Magic Kindgom and passed right out when we got in a cool place. So, my 8 year old had to get autographs for both her and her little sister. I will tell you my 4 year old defintely did not have a problem riding in the stroller the other days we were in the Parks! Crystal Palace also had a buffet for the kids, chicken nuggets, mc&cheese, potatoes, etc... This was good but no comparison to Chef Mickeys. At Crystal Palace you get Pooh, Piglet, Tigger & Eyeore! Again, dancing etc.. On Tuesday morning we did the StoryBook Princess Breakfast at Epcot. If you have little girls, or big girls, this is THE BEST!!!! The Restaurant Castle in Norway is very pretty and the breakfast is great. It is served in a large skillet with eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, wonderful cheese potatoes and before the breakfast skillet is brought out you have a large tiered tray with all kinds of fruit, pasteries and muffins. The waiter brought us all the OJ, coffee, etc. that we wanted. We had 5 princesses, Belle, Aurora, Snow white, Jasmine and Mulan. This was fabulous!! We had a table very close to the area where each princess came out from. This was great. Each one was beautifully dressed and talked so sweet to the girls. They took a good amount of time with each one, signing autograph books, and taking pictures and just general princess conversation. To me this was the best $$$ money spent and the best way for my girls to get a chance to meet the princesses!!!! One thing I can say when we were in the Parks when we saw a character that we had already met at a character Dinner/breakfast it was great to know we did not actually have to stand in a long, hot and I mean hot line to get an autograph. We could just wave and be on our way!!!! I would definitely recommend this one for all the little and big princesses in your family!!!! Also because the Spectro parade and fireworks are not done every night at Magic Kingdgom make sure if you are making your 1st trip to go to Magic Kingdom on one of the nights it takes place. The electrial parade and seeing Tinkerbell Fly from the Castle is just....priceless!!!!!!!
