Not us. We are instead going a week later because we like the Western itinerary better. I see this is really just a regular cruise and there won't be any special DVC things like there is on the members cruise.

We are trying for the January 11th sailing also.

Yeah I was excited til I saw it’s not the one with special gifts, activities, and experiences. Also the reservations points required for at least one person which makes it a no-go for me.

Nope, my kids go back to school on January 6th after Christmas vacation so the timing (again) doesn't work for us. Sigh. Only a couple more years of having to live by the school schedule

No, because it conflicts with our DGD's first trip to WDW (she'll be 20 months old)!

And also because of having to pay for one person with points - I'd just rather not do that.

If you have 3 people in the room couldn’t you use your points for the 3rd person so you would use less points and pay cash for the first 2 people.

Not sure since I've never booked one of these other than the DVC Member Cruise where you can pay all cash.

Yes you can - many people do just that. And when the 3rd person is a child, the points price is even lower, although person #3 being an adult still saves points.

We did the DVC preview cruise on the Wish but won't be able to make this one. Just like the MV, the timing of this one isn't great
