This will be our first time staying onsite. I think I have an understanding of how buses work when leaving the parks, but I want to make sure I'm clear. Outside of every park, there is a place for those riding buses back to their resorts to wait, right? Is there one general area and you wait for your resort's bus, or is there an assigned place for your resort that you walk to in order to wait for your resort's bus? Is it done the same way at each park? Thanks for your help! :goodvibes

Each Resort has it's own bus stop that is clearly marked. You stand in line at that bus stop until your bus comes and off you go. Those lines can get very long at park close, but we really enjoyed using Disney transport.

The bus stops for all buses are generally in one place, with a seperate cue line clearly marked for each resort. Just go to the bus area (There will always be people headed that way!), find your resort line and away you go. Very easy! Have fun! Talk to the people in line...you can always meet fun new Disney folks that way!

Thanks for your responses! Any idea on the average wait time after park closings? For example, if I leave a park at closing, is it crazy to think I should get to my resort in an hour or so? Is it like you're waiting for a second or third bus to show up?

During park exits, the buses run continously. If one fills up, another one will be arriving shortly. (How quickly depends on how many buses in queue they have and other variables)
