I've read confusing reports tht SOMETIMES you can catch a Disney bus going to/from Blizzard Beach that will stop at the nearby minigolf. Others swear they've tried it and been told nope, we don't stop there.

If I'm relying on Disney transportation am I limited to the Fantasia minigolf spot? Is it really w/in walking distance of the swan (or is it from the dolphin)???

Hope someone can help. If both options are open, then I'll look into it more to see which one we'll try, but if only 1 option is available, I guess my dec'n has been made.

Thanks!

Fantasia Gardens really is within walking distance of the Swan. It is directly across a (fairly busy) street. We have done it several times.
I don't know the answer to your bus transportation question, sorry.

I believe that you can walk to the mini golf next to Blizzard Beach from the bus stop. It is right there next to the BB parking lot.

I didn't realize there was a separate bus stop for the mini golf as its on the other end of Blizzard Beach. I though the BB bus stop was for both? Either way it's not very far from the BB bus stops and definately walkable IMHO.

Yes, the Fantasia Gardens is a very short walk from the swan or dolphin, its just across the street. My dd's have been making that walk since they were about 4.

We loved Fantasia Gardens, across the street from the S/D. If you take a bus to the S/D at one of the parks, or walk from either Epcot or MGM, you just walk between the two resorts, cross the street and you're there. It's really very easy to get to and a ton of fun.
If you want to try WinterSummerLand, (or whatever the heck it's called) then take the BB bus. If BB is closed, there will still be a bus that goes there so you can walk over to the mini-golf course. it's right next to BB, they actually share the parking lot.

OK...any input as to which mini golf we should try???

We've done both, I liked Fantasia Gardens a little better, but there's two separate courses at WinterSummerland, so we played both. The reason there was confusion over there "sometimes" being a bus to go there is because there's a bus there IF Blizzard Beach is open. I think you can see the fireworks from some park at Fantasia Gardens, if I'm remembering correctly. Someone can maybe set me straight on this one.

Winter/Summerland has it's own car parking lot and it's very small. It's not actually connected to the BB lot, nor do Disney busses stop there. But if you can get the bus to the BB lot, it's a very short walk to the mini golf course.
I personally prefer Fantasia Gardens tho--bit more of a challange.

Thank you for all the info'n. I guess it will depend which day we decide to add it. We're planning a day at BB, if we decide to take a mid day break, or maybe go after we're done...then it will probably be the wintersummerland course. If we opt to wait until our last night when we're planning on eating at Cape May Cafe...then we'll stroll over to Fantasia Gardens. I'm thinking it might be better to play at night, a little cooler. Though if we're already at BB we could play some minigolf and then go back and cool off again. Lots to think about. :rolleyes1

we took the bus from coronado springs to BB and walked the 100 yards to the winter summerland golf course. works just fine both ways.

We liked Winter Summerland, the one next to BB. We just took the BB bus and got off with everyone else and walked. It wasn't that far, they share a parking lot.
