Okay, I really don't know what I'm doing here but I'm trying to get ready for my adr's on Friday. We had originally thought of California Grill since I heard it was so good for watching the fireworks and I thought it was on the monorail so easy to get to. But it's not really our style of food and we have some kids so I thought Ohana might be a better choice. Does Ohana (which is at the Poly I guess) lie on the same monorail line as California Grill? Thinking of doing this on the evening when we will have been at Epcot for the day. So am I right that it is a 2 step process from Epcot (2 different monorails?). Also, if we go back to our hotel before dinner (ASMusic) what is the best way to get back for Ohana? Bus to MK and then monorail?

Yes. The Poly, Grand Flo and the Contemorary are all on the same monorail beam. 1 train stops at all 3 resorts, plus TTC and the MK.

To go from Epcot to Poly, take the Epcot TTC monorail to TTC, then transfer to the Resort monorail. It should be one stop on the resort train.

We have an 8:05 am ressie for CP and are staying at the GF. Will we need to take one of the early character meal buses to get there or will the monorail be open? Thank you so much for your help!

The resort monorail starts running by 7am...you will be fine.

Can someone help me figure out the best way to get from the Grand Floridian (Pirate Adventure for the kids) to the Beach Club (Beaches & Cream) and then back to All Star Music?

hhmm I'll be honest I'm not 100% sure, but I believe you could monorail to TTC, monorail to EPCOT, walk to beach club. Note that I would highly recommend this due to the fact that monorails shuttle and buses don't. Beach club back to All star you have to go to a theme park or DTD and transfer buses.

2. Magic Kingdom to Chef Mickey's and back to Magic Kingdom
Take the resort launch from the park, to the Comtemporary, then take the resort monorail back. The resort monorail goes from the Comtemporary to the Mk then to Grand Flo.
Option 2. Walk to the Contemp then take the monorail back.

There is no launch from MK to contemporary. Your only options from MK to CR are monorail or walk.

The best way is a taxi. They will be right outside the resort door and will be direct and take the least amount of time.

We are staying at SSR
Can you please tell me if i have the best/ correct travel for our needs.
Also, if there are any comments on how much time to allow i'd appreciate it.

SSR to Ohana's (645pm ADR)- bus to MK, then monorail to Poly

SSR to park- bus

SSR to Contemporary (930 am ADR)- bus to MK, then monorail to Contemporary

SSR to DTD- walk, bus, or boat

SSR to Boardwalk (530 pm ADR)- then to DTD- bus to HDS then boat to boardwalk; then after dinner boat to DHS, bus to SSR internal Congress Park stop then walk to DTD

but when will the DHS bus shut down?

OK I have one for you
We are at AK on Friday afternoon and then have dinner at Boma at 7:30 pm and were planning on doing the animal night viewing afterwards. Then we need to get back to our resort (Pop). Is there any way to do this via the bus system or will they have all shut down at that point?

If you need to use a bus you could go to DTD and then to Pop from there. Or find out who has EMH and how late they are then go to that park from AKL.

Taxi is always an option as well.
