hi all..

just back from BWI for 4 nights.. very spontaneous trip.. i was just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the buses at BWI?? why do they put all those resorts on one bus?? they go to boardwalk, beach and yacht, and swan and dolphin... isn't that a little much?? that would be like the GF, cont, and poly all on one bus, and they each have their own.. i would think with the amount we are paying to stay at these resorts, you would at least get your own bus as well.. why not have one bus for bc/yc and one for swan/dolphin, and one for BW..

anybody else have this problem?? wasn't impressed with them this time.. took forever to get to downtown disney..

still had a great time of course..

Were buses full and passing you by?

All buses take forever to go to Downtown Disney. DD needs some other form of transportation, that travels overhead or underground.

Note that Caribbean Beach buses make 8 stops and Port Orleans / Coronado Springs buses each make 5 stops.

This is my #2 gripe about the Epcot resorts. #1 is there are no snack shops for a quick bite (other than the Tubbi's at the Dolphin).

I think it's a chicken and the egg problem. The busses are usually pretty empty when I ride them, even though they stop at 5 resorts. Do Disney busses make more stops because fewer people use them or do fewer people use the busses because they make more stops?

We have found on our last two trips to BWV, that we generally shared a bus with the Swan/Dolphin people. Only once or twice did we stop at YC/BC and those times were mid-day, so not many people on the bus.
As far as the Contemporary, Polynesian and GF not having to share buses...well, when we have stayed at the Contemporary we always stopped at the Polynesian and vice versa when we stayed at the Polynesian. I think a few times at the Polynesian did we stop at the GF, but again that was mid-day.
I have found that only the really large resorts, basically the values and moderates, have their own buses. And even then Music and Sports share a lot.
