Disney transportation after evening EMH

If you opt to stay for the evening EMH hours at a particular park...does Disney transportation continue to run? For example, could I stay at the MK until 1am and still take the boat back to the Wilderness Lodge? Or should I make sure I drive my car in order to get back to the hotel?

The boats are usually the first to stop running in the evenings (and the last to start running in the mornings).
It depends on how they have schduled the boat pilots for any given evening if EMH will have late boat service.

Just ask the boat pilots the night you are there.

If the boats do stop running, there will be alternate transportaion from an EMH park.
Since EMH is ONLY for WDW resort guests (the majority of whom do not have cars at the park) Disney provides transportation after the parks are closed, EMH or not.

Nobody is left stranded at a WDW park.

There'll be buses if nothing else. Just a warning if you drive though, that sometimes (especially during lower seasons) they stop running the trams earlier in the evening out to the parking lots so you may have a LONG walk if you stay late, and got there late in the afternoon and parked a distance away. One evening EMH at Epcot was until midnight, but the trams stopped at 10:30. We were SPRINTING to catch one of those last trams (after riding the much too long Universe of Energy ride) so we wouldn't have to walk the zillion miles back to our car (and we weren't even certain where the parking section we were in was actually located from the Epcot entrance anyways!).

With as many people that stay at WDW resort that would stay for EMH, they would most likely keep buses or some other transportion running until that park closes. I hope so. I am leaving for WDW tommorrow morning, I will try to check for you. I hope to do a couple EMH myself in the next few days.

During evening EMH the green flag boats, which run from MK to WL and FW, operate for 75 minutes after the EMH extended closing.
