Disney transport on Sat... Trip from h***

At POFQ and have had great service all week. Only had to go thru Riverside one time. Today however.... For some reason they are using alot of Dynamic buses. The bus stop was chaos! We get on and he's got talk radio going. Sorry I am on a Disney vacation and don't want outside issues seeping into my vacation. Then we get to POR and there are 8 buses at main depot. It was a madhouse. We sat there for 6 minutes just waiting. Then the talk turns to music. It's a song about talking with your hips etc. My 4 yr old is the parrot of the family and always repeating song lyrics. That's all I need her to say. I walked up to the front and asked the driver to please change to more children friendly music. He seemed annoyed, but did. He just turned it off.

I'm just very annoyed with this today. We've been on this bus for 30 min and just left Riverside. I know I'll relax once we get to Epcot. Just had to vent about it.

Anyone know why all the non-dis buses today?

I have no idea...but I would let someone at the resort level know about your eperience. The drivers shouldn't be listening to either talk radio or regular radio stations. Way too many opportunities to offend a guest (and they would be rightfully offended).

i agree with letting the resort cms know... i would also have written down the bus number (and driver's name if you were able to see the nametag) and let the transportation people at epcot know...

re: that "talk w/your hips" song... I *HATE* that song... and do not blame you for not wanting your 4yo to hear/repeat it... it is one of the most degrading to women songs i have ever heard... i won't even let my 14yo listen to it!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

That song is "Don't Trust Me" by 3OH!3. The only bus that song would be acceptable on is a bachelor party bus full of young 20 something males. I would right a letter and include the lyrics which can be found here. If I posted them I would get banned.


I have never heard a radio (AM/FM or otherwise) while on a Disney bus.

It was a contracted bus. I should have said something to Disney Transport when we got off, I just wanted to get off! I went to the restroom and splashed some water on my face and gave myself a little attitude adjustment - much needed. I had to be happy-cheery for my family. It was our last day afterall.
