We will be renting a car at MCO. But this is my question,if we are staying offsite but we have family that is staying onsite can we drive to their hotel (Dolphin) and park and use Disney transporation with them? :moped:

You can use the Disney transportation, but I am not sure about the parking. All of the Disney Resorts have a parking pass that you have to display in your car window. I would assume the Dolphin would be the same.

Ask at the front desk.

Most trips to Disney, My father in law has visited with us at the Boardwalk. We have never had a problem with him parking all day, though we always check with the front desk first.

If your family staying on site do not have their own rental car you can arrange to have them get the resort parking permit for you.

Have your family staying at the Dolphin add your vehicle to the reservation. No need for licenses or anything. Then you will have a Disney parking pass.

Also, an FYI...while I was there just several days ago, both the Dolphin and Swan were in the process of building an entrance gate/checkin at the entrance to each of their parking areas. This will bring those two resorts inline with the other Disney resorts.

Stayed at GF last year, my father meet me at he front (called me on my cell phone). I got a free parking pass at the front desk and rode with him to the parking lot. then went on the monorail to MK. In fact, later that night, my parents babysat our kids and we took to YC and got the free parking pass from the hotel. Long story short...as a resort guest, you can get a free parking pass. You will just need to get it to your family prior to them parking.

Thanks for the replies. You have helped a lot and now I guess I have more money to spend on our trip. Every little bit helps! :cool1:
