Disney transfers

I booked disney transfers because the travel agent said we only check in once at the hotel and then just walk onto the ship. Is this true? Is it easier and better or is booking privately through quicksilver better?

Ummm, what hotel? A Disney resort?
If so, you'll have to consider the fact that the Disney bus picks up at the resorts after 11:30 A.M. for the first resort pickup and later for each resort thereafter. You get to the port and walk onto the ship relatively late...(I'm guessing 3PM for an AKL pickup).

The TA is mostly right, but is certainly not very forthcoming with details... Don't know anything about quicksilver except it is deadly to drink....
