Now this might sound strange but I am pretty strange?

My son is six. We leave Friday night for a short stay . . . His front tooth is getting all wiggly . . . I will have a Ziploc with me of course just in case it comes out in our travels but I was wondering . . . Anyone know if Disney sells (in store or in WDW) a Tooth Fairy pillow? I have one from the dollar store . . .

I asked him if he thought it might fall out while we were away and he asked me if I thought the Tooth Fairy goes on vacation . . .

I can't wait to see :)

My niece lost her tooth just before Wishes one evening.

I didn't even look for a tooth holder.

It was just the two of us and I had a hard time just finding a time to get her something without her noticing.

The tooth fairy took a long time to get that tooth. Just after my sister told her that there isn't a tooth fairy. Now I think she believes again.

DD was 5 with a wiggly tooth last summer when we went. My MIL made her a simple tooth fairy pillow out of some Disney Princess fabric (she also made one for my nephew with a Toy Story fabric) for us to take with. It looked simple enough that EVEN I could have made it, LOL! Needless to say, she didn't lose that tooth until we got back, but I was glad we had it just in case! However, a ziploc would have worked just as well!

Try Target, Walmart or a dollar store for a little case, container, purse type thing with a Disney theme.

I found a small plastic container, Disney princess themed to put earrings in for my DD 16th b-day (never too old for Disney) at Target.

What about....

I think I saw something when we were there in April but I have no idea where/what it was. I just remember DD10 commenting that tinkerbell is a fairy and maybe the toothfairy is at Disney. I think I just chose not to reply because she's always asking a bunch of questions about whether Santa & co. are real!

DS7 lost a tooth thanks to an Itzakadoozie while on vacation. We didn't have anything special to put it in - we just put it under his pillow. The Tooth Fairy didn't come though - Tinkerbell:tinker: took it that night (apparently she is the only Fairy under contract on Disney property;)) - She left him a Vinylmation for his tooth. :teeth:

My older DD had a tooth fall out during a parade at DHS. Her sister had her first visit button at that point, so we went to guest services to get a button for her (hey, she was 7, she could celebrate that!). I'd think that they'd have mentioned if they had something specific for a tooth, but, alas, no dice.

Tinkerbell, subbing for the tooth fairy on Disney property, got her some Disney dollars.

My DD 5 lost her first tooth under Spaceship Earth while eating a Mickey rice krispie bar. We were told that Tinkerbell had jurisdiction over WDW. Sorry, no help with the pillow though.

Never seen one specifically for teeth, but pretty sure you will be able to find a container or box of some sort.

Thank you everyone. I am going to take a small piece of Tupperware or something like that and put some stickers on it . . , But I thought I would ask the experts first.

My daughter lost a tooth on the trip we just came back from. I kept the tooth in my wallet while we were at the parks.
Without her knowing, I bought a tinkerbell trading pin (the one with tink that has the dangling bottle of fairy dust!) and put it under her pillow that night. That was the most "tooth-fairyish" thing I could think of!

I'm waiting to see if my dd loses any teeth while we are away. She is almost 8 but has only lost two teeth. She has two other wiggly ones but the first two took about 6 months to work their way loose. These ones have been loose for a few months now so our trip would be about the right time. ;)

The toothfairy is pretty slack at our house. She forgets a lot! :rolleyes1

I'll deal with it if and when it happens.

My son lost a tooth at a gas station on the way to WDW! Well...his brother kicked him in the mouth and the tooth came flying out! We just put it in a ziplock.

This brings me back. Sorry no help with the Disney tooth holder, but think it would be a great idea. When my kids were little and they lost teeth at Disney we told them that Tinkerbell left stuff instead of the tooth fairy. I would leave money, tiny "Disney" gifts and of course, pixie dust!! Have fun!! and thanks for the memory!!

Enjoy The Magic!!

That sounds like my boys. My youngest has knocked 4 teeth out. To be fair though, 2 of them were already loose but both were knocked out from horsing around with his brother. The other two, one was when he was 18 months and fell off the step, the other was when he was 4 and jumped off something his brother dared him to jump off. It was only a few feet high but he landed the wrong way. He broke his arm along with that losing the tooth! I'm telling you, that boy is never allowed to play contact sports!

Dd lost a tooth eating a chicken wing at Ohana...we were totally unprepared as we didn't think it was so loose. Had to do a bit of quick shopping as our Tooth Fairy brings glass figurines - the tooth went into a glass from our room and the tooth fairy made a quick call to Tink and she stopped in the glass shop on Main St. and picked up a tiny glass castle :tinker:

I bought one years ago, but I have no idea which store i got it at. It's white with the fairies from Sleeping beauty on it. It had a smaller white pouch that velcroed to the front of it to put the tooth in. I'm sure your son would find it a little girly for his taste.:) But I've probably had this pillow for 7 or 8 years.

I am getting a huge kick out of this thread. Thank you to everyone for sharing your memories.

PJ would like a Cars one . . . Or My Little Pony actually. He is a true NYC boy except he has this one Pony that he loves :) I told him we can like lots of things . . . I liked climbing trees when I was a young girl myself . . .

Word of caution: We took a trip two years ago with my parents, grandma, aunt, uncle and two small cousins. My youngest cousin was about to lose a tooth and told one of the castmembers about it. He replied that in Disney World, losing a tooth is very special. Tinkerbelle is the tooth fairy here and gives you $20. Needless to say, my aunt wasn't too thrilled. My mom and I, however, thought it was hilarious :rotfl:

So just a word of caution in case that comes up when you take your trip!

We have always used a small jewlery/drawstring bag for the toothfairy's tooth so I had one with me with some earrings in it. DS2 lost his first tooth at Tonys in a roll, but earlier that day Tinkerbell was trying to pull it for him-I was fiddling with the camera a looked up and she and Fawn were both all in trying to convince him to let her pull it but he chickened out-great memory. We did go back later to see her so he could show off the empty space.
