For the most part, I really like it! So much more goes into it now. Like, your people's personality traits are pretty much present in everything they do. Like, a clumsy sim will trip over themselves all the time, one that dislikes the outdoors gets all depressed if they stand outside for too long and one that's a clean freak hates it if there's dirty anything anywhere...and wants to clean the house all the time.

And if your person is pregnant, they not only get random moments of nausea, but back aches as well. And-once they go into labor you have two options- make them comfortable at home OR send them to the hospital.

There are some things I don't like tho, like with the babies and toddlers, you can't bathe them anymore. The babies are more like they were on the original Sims than Sims 2, because they don't move much (They are constantly wrapped up in this blanket). And you can't see your sim when they go into stores. All it does when they go in there is have this thing pop up where you check what items you want your person to buy and then...you get them. And there's no weather, other than wind.

BUT! Everything you do affects the entire neighborhood. How well your Sim's pregnancy goes determines how good of a kid your child is (if the mom is all depressed during her pregnancy, then her child gets bad/negative personality traits). You can actually go into other people's houses now and interact with them. And! You can have your child ride a bike to school if you don't want them to take the bus. And you can actually SEE what a baby's needs are, rather than having to guess all the time.

So really, there's good and bad things about it, but I still like it! And if I ever get the urge to go and bathe one of my Sims toddlers or see the inside of a store, then all I need to do is put back in The Sims 2 and I'm good to go! :thumbsup2
