Disney to Universal

I know someone here can help me.....
I'm staying at Disney's Beach Club Oct. 19-24th and plan on going to HHN on the 21st. I saw somewhere that Universal is affiliated with some sort of shuttle service that runs from Disney Resorts to Universal. Anyone know the company and/or approximate price?
P.S. I went to the Mears site but it won't let me book transportation between Disney and Universal unless I first book transportation from the airport(which I don't need).
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I am currently having the same problem, I can't find a town car company either, sunray will not do it with out the airport transfer as well. And so far the others will not accept cc.

I'm in the same predicament, but I think I'm just going to call a cab. I think I heard it's approximately $29 to go from Disney to Universal. You can have the hotels concierge call you a cab or you can get the phone number from them

We've used a taxi both times we were at Disney. I'm not possitive but I remember spending at least $80.00 round trip for the 4 of us from POFQ to Univresal. Last time was in Sept 2005. Still all that I've read it seems easier to take a taxi (no parking fees) and dropped off at entrance to parks. We will be at Disney the end of August and planning one or two days at Universal

So I called Universal vacations today and I explained how I would be staying at a Disney resort for a few days, but then transferring over to the Royal Pacific @ Univeral and could they suggest a company to transport us from Disney to Universal.

The sales rep suggested I call Mears because they have shuttle service, Town cars, and cab service. So I called Mears and said they only shuttle to and from MCO airport to the Resorts, but gave me the number of their cab service. So I called and told the lady which Disney resort I'd be staying at and where I need to go (RPH). She looked it up and said the fare would be between $30 - $35 one way. She said I can call the cab service the day before or the day of to arrange transportation. Here's the number: 407-422-2222

Thanks breebella for the info! We were leaning towards a cab simply for the convenience but were not sure what price to expect. Thanks again!

Mears must have just changed there policy. Last year they would pick up and take you from Disney to Universal for HHN for around $15 pp. We didn't do it because there pick up times in the Disney area weren't convenient so we just called a cab. It was between $25 and $30 each way which I thought was a little spendy but it was so convenient and a whole lot cheaper than a DWI.
