Disney to Universal

What is the cheapest way for 6 people to get from Disney to Universal? We plan on going to Universal for three days of our trip.

Are you transferring from Disney to Universal one time and staying at Universal, or are you commuting from Disney to Universal on three days?

I am thinking, if you are checking into a Universal hotel, then www.sunraytransportation.com is the way to go. If you are driving over from a hotel that does not shuttle to Universal, you may be better off looking at a rental car.

My advice would be to stay at Universal for the three days at the end of your Disney trip and chill. Once you have stayed on site at UO and have FOTL you will be changed...

We are staying at Pop Century. We would be commuting for three days. We are going from 12/13-12/27. Our Universal days are 12/23, 12/24 and 12/26. We really want to spend Christmas Day at Disney World. Plus I'm sure the rates would be really high if we checked in on the 23rd.

Some of the taxi vans will hold six people. It costs about $35-$40 for a taxi from Disney to Universal.

We are going to US/IOA for two days during our upcomming WDW trip. We choose to rent a car for the two days. There is a National rental car located at the Dolphin Resort so we will take a taxi over in the morning (opens at 8am) and go from there to US/IOA. The next day when we are done at US/IOA we will bring the car back and use Disney transportation to get back to PoP where we are staying. The two day rental is costing us about $100 and we use a coupon from the entertainment book for a free upgrade. I just find it easier and no more expensive then the other choices. Hope it helped. Oh and one more thing! To make it easier to go get the car one or two of you may want to take the taxi over alone and return to pick up the others. Good Luck!
