I am glad Disney is working on some of these issues before the opening of SW GE. Unfortunately, I do lots of split stays, and I get caught up in the mess, but oh well. Next trip is split 1/5. (I never would have thought of booking a leading reservation a week earlier, and cancelling it later on. Just, wow.) This will not effect me too much, one day later, I should be ok, not going on a particularly busy week. My split stay trip, the reason is arriving on a Saturday, last night of a high point season, so studio was 28 points. Decided to do cash that arrival night, in a LM room at AoA, before my DVC stay on points, starting Sunday. I like to check in early morning at DVC, better room assignment possible.
I will say that people who book the campsites (every other night now? geez. To get free parking, multiple free magic bands, and a week of early FP+ access while staying offsite) might bug me the most. I understand that they are actually paying for it. Every other night. Doesn't booking that way prevents others from actually using those campsites, especially booking every other night, that would leave the alternate nights likely empty? I think the campsite bookings by offsite guests could be a future target of action.
First 60 day window opens tomorrow!
