Disney tickets for Military!

So I have got a weird question for y'all. My husband bought the Armed Forces Salute tickets from the MWR on base while he was temporarily medically retired from the military. We had anticipated his temporarily retired status would eventually become a permanently retired status. Unfortunately, it did not go as intended, and he is no longer considered retired from the military. My question is: will our Armed forces tickets still work? We both still retained our military ID's, so we can still show them at the gate. However, will they now show up as invalid when we go to activate them at the gate? Do they have a scanning system that would show my husband is no longer a retired veteran? I first and foremost don't want to do anything against the rules. But I also don't think it's right to have to buy another set of tickets, since I already bought the tickets I have through the correct channels. Any help is thoroughly appreciated!!

I believe all they ask for is military ID. If it doesn't show expired, it should be fine. They don't have a magical system that can tell whether or not you are still with the military.

With all the magic going around I wouldn't be surprised if they did! I plan on calling disney customer service just to double check, but that's what I thought! Thanks so much!

Then what about the rule of returning the military ID that is military property?

I am not speaking out my behind here. I am a former superintendent of the ID card section AND worked military retirements and separations for 20 years where I know what letters the service members must sign and what the military regulations state.

Just saying...

I AM retired and when I ask stores about military discounts I have been told "as long as it's not expired?" I asked, are people showing expired military IDs? I was told yes and they are claiming they just didn't have time (too busy at work) to get the new one which is BS because they are showing active military IDs (I asked) and wouldn't make it past the military gate without it being confiscated AND you can't sign onto a military computer with an expired ID.

Disney may not have it, but many stores have it. For example, Champs pays for the software that a lot of retail stores are going to that you have to input your SSN, DOB, and Veteran status. I hit active by accident one time right after I retired and it rejected me. I asked the clerk to do it again because I just made a blonde (yep I am blonde) mistake and it went through the second time.

I personally like this software. I also was able to order online with the military discount from footlocker and a few other stores that are also using this same software. I use to never get military discounts when I ordered online, but now I can.

ETA: I googled it. Found this:
Foot Locker has partnered with SheerID to validate your service records. Follow these simple steps to verify your status for military discounts at Foot Locker, LadyFoot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Footaction USA, Champs Sports and Six:02.

I am pretty positive Busch Gardens also tracks the sponsor's SSN so they don't use their offer more than the program allows. Looks like they use ID.me

What is ID.Me?
We are working with a third party company called ID.me to provide online verification of active and former military personnel. Troop ID (powered by ID.me) works using a single sign on that enables brands to authenticate military affiliation in real time. Troop ID supports Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 9 and later versions. The log in screen is a separate pop-up window, you may need to allow for the pop-up window to display.

Yes, I booked a day at Discovery Cove for August and military price is $219 for attendance + Dolphin and $149 for attendance only, as opposed to $340 and $200 for public price... eligibility was verified through ID.me.
