Hi,

For anyone who purchased Disney tickets directly from Disney earlier this year and was expecting to receive a free snowglobe, read on......(phew!)

Earlier this year, Disney.co.uk had a promotion that gave you a free snowglobe if you purchased either a 14 or 21 day ultimate ticket. I did purchased a 21 day ticket which I received earlier this week. But no snowglobe voucher. I phoned Disney 0870 24 24 900 and spoke to Customer Services who, basically, said no snowglobe, you had to purchase a package (hotel and tickets) to get the free snowglobe. I was then put through to an agent in the States who said they would give me a call back later. I finally received a call back from Disney who confirmed that I should have received the voucher BUT that it was sent out in January. They have resent the voucher to me.

So, if anyone is expecting to receive a free snowglobe from Disney after purchasing either a 14 or 21 day ultimate ticket earlier this year, give them a call on the number above and, subject to confirmation, they'll resend out a voucher if you didn't receive one in the first place.

Andy - thanks for posting this. I remember the snowglobe offer and a few people here ordered the tickets because of that.

Let us know what the globe is like when it comes - it looked lovely from the picture I saw.

MY s-i-l picked up her free globe last month when in WDW. I haven't seen it, but she says it is huge!

She had it delivered to her resort from the pick up point in the parks, so that wasn't a problem, but they weren't sure how they were going to get it home. There was no way it would fit inside their luggage so they tried to check it in the hold with a fragile sticker. The airline (NorthWest) said they'd advise anything fragile to go as hand luggage, so b-i-l sat with it on the floor between his feet for the internal flight as it wouldn't fit the overhead locker! Fortunately, for the international flight they managed to get it in the locker, otherwise I think they would have been tempted to ditch it!

... but my neice thinks it's really pretty ;)

We got the freesnowglobe in February- it would not fit in the suitcase!!! It is lovely- celebrating The Happiest Celebration on Earth princess:

Hi just got off the phone to disney they are going to call hammersmith and get back to me tomorrow :confused3

We just arrived back a few hours ago and we picked up our snowglobe at the emporium at the Magic Kingdom. I thought it might be one of the small ones and couldnt believe the size of it when they came to the counter with it.

The CM said it could not be bought in any of the shops. It is the size of the ones that cost $100.

We had to go to walmart and buy another holdall to make space for it as I couldnt bear toleave it behind even though snowglobes arent my thing. I am glad to say it is in one piece.

Be prepared if you have one to take home!!!!!
