I have been looking on Ebay and i see a couple of power sellers with 100% feedback and over 1500 transactions.

They seem to be the cheapest i can find for tickets, has anyone got tickets from Ebay or heard any stories?!?!

Many people will tell you to stay away from there because unfortunately you dont really know what you are getting till you get to WDW and then it may be too late.. On the other hand I have sold a WDW pass that I didnt think we would be able to use.. But you cant count on everyone being trustworthy..

Are these passes that haven't been used? Or are they passes with a few days left on them? Remember, passes now require a finger scan and, therefore, are not transferable once they have been used. Also, like bettyann29 said, you don't know how many days are left on the passes until you get to WDW.

I personally won't buy them through ebay.

I've purchased tickets on eBay before and never had a problem. True, you can't tell if they've been used, etc. However, if the seller has a 100% feedback rating with 1500+ transactions, I wouldn't think you'd have a problem. Someone with such a great records, probably wouldn't jeoparidze their rating to sell bogus tickets.

Just read very carefully many of them have alot of tricky writing. I've never ordered but looked I saw someone selling tickets that only had the options (waterparks, etc) all the theme park days were used, and bids were almost as high as a one day ticket. Which indicates to me bidders did not fully understand what they are bidding on. This person had over 100 sales good feedback.

Just watch because it is illegal for them to sell used tickets. If you see ones listed and you're not positive they are new-send a message to the buyer to confirm. That way you are protecting your butt!

The feedback system at eBay is breaking down: Folks are becoming reticent to give negative feedback since they know they'll get negative feedback in return. It's almost becoming a Playing Chicken situation in some cases. Also, there have been several notable cases recently where folks who had glowing feedback for years suddenly "turned bad". Your best bet is to make sure that the person you're doing business with is a reputable dealer, someone with ties to the community. You're not going to get that from eBay. There are reputable dealers out there that sell tickets at discount, and for whom you can be confident that you're going to get what you pay for.

From what i see the tickets are new and never been used.

Or at least it is easy to say they are new and never been used. The only way to know is when you get to the turnstile at Disney. By then, it's way too late if there is a problem.

For me, I just don't understand why people would take the chance of buying a ticket off Ebay vs using a legitimate ticket broker. You just don't save enough money to make it worth the risk. Of course, that's just my feelings about it.

You can't tell from examining the ticket itself let alone by examining a picture of the ticket on your computer screen.

You should not buy Disney tickets from strangers or even friends.

If the person with the ticket is willing of making a gift of the ticket to you and after your vacation you give him a tip (100% of the bid plus shipping, not 15-20%) then eBay could be a good deal.

i would make sure there not some kind of timeshare tickets also

Sounds like you might be looking at single-day tickets; if that's the case I know it's hard to find any sort of discount and therefore eBay is enticing. I've done it once, with a seller I was confident in, but that was before the finger-scan was implemented so now I wouldn't do it. Just too risky.

These won't help much if you are just looking for the one-day tix, but have you looked into either TicketMania or MapleLeaf Tickets?

I purchased tickets from Ticket Mania last year and they work fine. No problems. I bought 10 non expiring and saved a lot of money. Don't buy used tickets, look at the positive feedback.
