Disney Ticket Problem

Anyone know a number I can call to check days on my Park Tickets?

Here is the issue...I know how many days are left. However I paid for the "fun visit" options when I bought them. My passes are non-expiring.

So, my friend just had her tickets checked at Disney. They had used all of their park visits, but were checking their fun visits. They told her that they had expired.

Is that possible? DO the fun visits expire but the Park days don.t? How does this work?

I am hoping I did not lose all those days! They were not cheap to add on!

I think that I remember seeing a phone number posted on the theme parks boards at one time. But I also remember hearing that cast members can get in trouble for verifying tickets over the phone. The short answer to your question is that those entitlements do not expire if you purchased no expiry tickets. Maybe your friend didnt buy no expiration on her tickets?:confused3

The more recent posts on this state that you can only find out in person at a park. They supposedly no longer answer these tickets questions over the phone.

I called. The man was very nice! He says that the Fun Days do not expire.

My friend will have to find out about hers!

Thanks for the help!!!!!!

That is correct - unused park days and plus visits do not expire if you have non-expiring tickets. If she had normal MYW non-expiring tickets, that CM was incorrect that told her they were expired.

This post includes the assumption you have a ten day MYW ticket with both the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More (WPF&M) options.

Hopefully this will make it a little clearer. In effect you have two tickets with different privileges on one card. Everything expires 14 days after first use unless you have the no-expire (NE) option. If you have the NE option all the entitlements are good until they are used up. Even if you use up all your major park days, the WPF&M entries remain valid until used. (Note you do not have to use the days consecutively.)

You have ten days of access to the four major parks (AK, DHS, EC, MK), and may visit more than one major park on a single day without any extra charges. Without the Park Hopper option you can only go to one major park per day.

You have ten entries to the minor parks (BB, DQ, OT, TL, WWS). These may or may not be used on the same days as you go to the major parks. However, if you went to TL in the morning, Oak Trail* in the afternoon, and Disney Quest in the evening of one day you would have used three of the ten entries. (Note that leaving and returning to the same minor park on the same day does not use an extra entry.)

If you go to minor parks only on one day and do not go to a major park you do not use up one of your major park days.

If you were to go to a Water Park in the morning and then one of the major parks for the remainder of the day you would have used one minor park entry and one day of major park entry.

Note that with the MYW ticket unless you have the hopper option you can only go to one major park per day. Unless you have the WPF&M option you cannot go to a minor park without upgrading or purchasing a separate ticket.

*Oak Trail is a nine-hole "Executive" walking (no carts) golf course. Each person must have their own set of clubs and they can be rented for $15 per person if they don't bring their own.

Did your friend have the non-expiring option? If you do not pay for that option everything will expire.

THANKS for the replies! My friend thought she had the Nonexpiring tickets and had used up her park days but not the FUN days. The agent told her that while the major park days did not expire the fun days do expire.

I am not really sure what exactly she has since I have not physically seen her tickets. It just got me thinking about mine. My concern was that the Fun days were only good as long as I still had a Park day available, so I did not want to use my last park days only to lose all my Fun days? Does that make sense?

She will have to take up her issue at the park.

The man I spoke to on the phone was very nice. He was able to tell me that we all still had all our FUN days on our passes. Oddly, he could only tell me about the Park days within one day. Not sure why, but I really did not care since I kept track of my days and really just needed to confirm the nonexpiring issue.

He was very confused when looking at my tickets since DH had quite a few days more left than the kids and I had!! I had to tell him the kids and I went without dad last year!

When you call Walt Disney World, unless you really know a direct number, you will get one of two offices.

The Disney Reservations Center (DRC) includes Walt Disney Travel Company (WDTC), Central Reservations Office (CRO), Disney Dining, and some other lesser known information lines. To the best of my knowledge the DRC locations are in the International Drive area, Tampa, Houston, Salt Lake City and somewhere in North Carolina. There may be more. Some of the people working at the DRC call centers may never have been to either WDW or DL (or both).

The Main Switchboard (407-824-2222) is also where all calls to Disney Resorts go if you are dialing the phone number on the back of your reservations form. Also that is where calls go if you dial the Operator from your room, and possibly even calls to the Front Desk. The Main Switchboard people will, if asked, also identify themselves as Guest Services. They can put you through to any number on WDW.

At both DRC and MS they have access to a computer which has lots of Guest Information and it is very well organized. Actually, all CMs who have access to a terminal, or who even can access "The Hub" from off-site, have access to this Guest Services information. I will often open an extra window when I am responding to people and go into The Hub for the latest official information.

The people at DRC and MS do not deal with upgrades, partially used tickets, or problems related to tickets. They do not know all the rules. The people at DRC can sell unused tickets; the people at MS don't deal with tickets at all.

The people who work in the ticket booths at the Parks or in Guest Relations at the Parks (and this includes TTC, the Water Parks, and GRO in DTD) deal with ticket upgrades and unusual problems on a daily basis. I would not say that someone you talked to on the phone lied to you, but just they were attempting to answer a question when they really did not have an answer.

Just thought I would put this out there: This past Aug/Sept visit to WDW we had a question about out MYW Fun & More NE tickets so my DH went to the front desk to question the # if days left on our ticket for park and fun/water park visits. When he returned to our room he explained that the CM stated that we had more days than OUR count showed. So, I went back down to the front desk to have them check our tickets one more time by a different cm. This time, they came up with the same amount of days left that we had.:dance3:

I guess what I am saying is that CM's can make mistakes and perhaps this is what happened to the above poster.

We have purchased these type of tickets 2x already, and like other posts have stated, as long as you have NE option, your fun/water park days DO NOT expire if you have used up your park days. We still have tickets from 2009 with no park days left but have several fun/water park days we are still using.

Hope this helps.

It seems when I ask about my tickets they have to count the physical days used and subtract it then from what I had, sounds easy enough but with entering and exiting and them all mixed together on one ticket, the list gets quite long. So I can see where someone could miscount. I have asked in the past if they could just print it out for me. That way I have it with the ticket and know what has been used.

We tend to have lots of tickets with varying things left on them.
