Disney Tattoos

I already have 1 Disney tattoo (well 1 tattoo in general). It's posted on here in my old name but I guess I can post it again.

It's red and puffy because it was taken right after it was done.

and I'm planning my next one. I want it to involve the autism ribbon with Pluto. My older sister is autistic and absolutely ADORES Pluto! So these are my inspiration pictures:

Instead of the Pluto saying "I Beg you to be my Valentine" it's going to have the Autism ribbon inside the heart. The hearts on the bottom and the banner probably aren't going to be there though.

What do you think?

I think with those two pictures as your inspiration, a good tattoo artist can sketch something great for you!!! I very much look forward to seeing this one What a sweet tribute to your sister!

I just found this thread yesterday and have been perusing through a lot of the old posts and images (by no means all though! wow, there is a lot here!).

I've been wanting a tattoo for awhile, and what has held me up is deciding what to get that I will want forever, and where to put it. I want it someplace I can see it, but that I can cover up.

In theory I have decided I want my kids' Chinese zodiac symbols (both my kids were born in China - Year of the Dragon and Year of the Monkey) right around my bikini line (well, it would be a bikini line if I wore a bikini! But YKWIM). I can't find any images of Chinese dragons that I like - they are all so scary looking! I want feminine.

But I've seen a few Mickey heads in this thread, and now I'm thinking of starting out with a stylized Mickey head on my foot, similar to this:

This is a pic DH took on the cruise...

Anyone with anything similar they could share with me? And gosh, if you have any feminine Chinese zodiac signs I can look through, send 'em over!

I want another tat .... thinking of either a G-clef or musical note with a hidden Mickey.
But I want it on my foot. issue is... I work full time and have to wear shoes. I can't take time off right now.
Any suggestions to protect it or what to do????

I know I can plan to get it done in the evening then have 2 days off in a row.... but what about after that????

I need a LOT of touch up work, and it's not finished yet, but it will be finished one day..... if I could stop spending all of our extra play money on Disney trips LOL! My camera stinks, I must get a new one before our trip!!! My tattoos are not that blurry!

What if you just did Pluto peeking over the ribbon, no heart?

Love it! Reminds me of a friend who has Jack on the back of one of his calves and wants Sally on the other (he loves Nightmare Before Christmas!)

Honestly, I have tattoos on both of my feet and one on my big toe. It isn't going to hurt the tattoo to wear shoes. On the day you get it I say let it air out really well, but after that you would be fine. I don't know what your dress code is but I'd just wear a flat. If your tattoo needs to be covered you could always buy knee high black stockings with the flats. If not, just wear a cotton sock with your regular shoes. I wouldn't recommend putting a bandage over it to wear with shoes. Just keep it well moisturized and take care if like you are supposed to and you will be fine.

Just home from getting a Mickey (it's just the head silhouette that looks like it is made from a purple ribbon) on my left foot. For those of you wondering--YES the tattoo on my foot hurt a lot more than the ones on my inner ankles. I'll post pics next week after my artist touches up the Sorcerer Mickey on my right ankle.

lyncecilia: I love the idea with the Autism ribbon as a tribute to your sister! I agree with a pp, I think pluto peeking over the ribbon would be precious, without the heart! I think having the autism ribbon and pluto should be your main focus, don't want too much clutter, especially since the ribbon is so busy. Either way, it's an awesome idea!

This thread is so much fun! I already have two tattoos (a ninja turtle on my shoulder and the kanji for onna on my upper back) but I really want a Disney one. Right now I'm going back and forth between a Chip and Dale theme since I've been a fan of them pretty much my entire life, or a Haunted Mansion theme since... well I love the HM.

I told my DH I was going to get "I do" on my left inner wrist, and "I did" on my right inner wrist in white ink as an homage to the bride since we got married on Halloween and that was also the first time I got to ride HM. So I might do that and get get C&D on my right shoulder.

How about Pluto in the "loop" of the ribbon? Peaking over it? I think that would be adorable!

Hey all!! I just found this site and thread while trying to come up with new tattoo ideas! I would love some suggestions on what to get. I live in Georgia but was born in Germany and grew up in Florida.. Needless to say I absolutely LOVE Disney!! I only have 1 tattoo on the inside of my left ankle (a little purple butterfly) and I am so ready for my second. I am very open to locations but I would love to come up with something special that celebrates where I am in life right now. I recently overcame a7 year illness and graduated college (undergrad). If anyone has some suggestions I would be so happy to have them!

I myself am at a stand still
I want to get a mickey themed tattoo on my low back. Just dont know what to do. I want just the mickey head outline with flowers.
