Disney Tattoos

I've finally figured out how to post pictures. Sorry they're so big. Not yet sure how to make them smaller. Here are 3 of mine:

I have Mickey heads around my wrist, but they didn't turn out so good so I'm going to have it covered up.

Wow! That must be a brand new Tinker Bell tattoo! The ink and color are so bright! Beautiful! I need to get my tattoos touched up when I get some extra cash. :) I really want to get a Mickey tattoo...just not sure where yet!

It was about a month and a half old when I took that picture. It was funny though on our last trip, apparently because the colors were so bright everyone thought that I had had it done at one of the temporary tattoo stands. They kept asking me how long they last. :rotfl2:

Haha! I get that a lot too! Are they real? Yes...they are! :goodvibes

BUMPITY BUMP! I need some ideas!! I have the Barbie logo on my butt (I know I know!! It made sense at the time!) and now I am itching for something with the Mouse...maybe even a portrait of WALT my lover boy :)

I have across my back... the word OHANA with a palm tree on each side... wish i could show you but i dnt know how to post pics

I would love a small mickey head somewhere on my body, but I really CAN NOT TAKE any pain!

This is so funny this thread was bumped back up. I'm still contemplating a small black Mickey head on my ankle...

Amazing tattoos everyone! Finally took a decent pic of mine (originally only had the ones when it was fresh... but Pooh looked like he was in a bar fight LOL) But now that it's all healed the colours are proper.

I have no clue how to embed photos so I uploaded it to DIS photoboard.
My Tattoo

It's winnie and piglet walking hand in hand on my left ankle. Piglet seems a bit off as I took the pic myself and had a hard time turning my leg enough to get him dead on, so the reason he looks a bit weird is he's wrapped around my leg a bit.

I would like to do this too, I would put Piglet and Eeyore. The Piglet would be for my DD(18) and Eeyore woud be for my other DD( in memory of her, she loved anything Eeyore).

We have these friends that got tattoo's in my DD's memory. Out of the 7 of us I am the only one that dosen't have one. My DH has two, one for each DD. My DD(18) just got one on her 18th birthday. They don't have any Disney tattoo's, I would be the only one that has Disney. I am still in the thinking stage.

Love seeing everyone's pictures!

I have a Tink tattoo on my lowerback.:)

I've got one more sitting and my shoulder tattoo will be finished. I went with the Fantasia theme. I've got Chernabog on the upper part of my shoulder with his wings draping over sorcerer mickey. Below Mickey I have Yensid looking up at Mickey not so happy and the dancing brooms flanking Yensid. I put my kids intials and my wife's name on the broom sticks. I will have over 6 1/2 to 7 hours in the chair and around $600 invested in this. I took 5 years to come up with the layout and have no regrets at all. Everyone that see's it so far love to check out all of the detail. I will post a picture of it when it's ALL done. Make sure your passionate about your choice. The first two sittings, people have come in to cover older tattoo's they no longer liked!!:thumbsup2

No evidence to share but one of my 7 tats is cheshire cat. Its the last one I got, and I dont think I like it :confused3 :sad2:

That's the biggest reason that I haven't gotten my Disney tattoo yet. I love looking at all of these pictures. Some of them do look bright and well defined, just like an "airbrushed" design and that is exactly what I would want. While others (not trying to pick on anyone's design) just look less professional. Less like it was pulled right out of the movie.

Even though I can look through a portfolio of an artist's work, rarely have they done anything specifically Disney or what I am going for. How will I know if the end result is what I want?

For those of you who have tattoos, did you bring in artwork? sketches? Or just describe to the artist what you are looking for? Did they sketch something for you before they started the work on your body?

wow, super cool thread everyone!

everyone assumed this here sparrow is pirates related...but i actually got it way before the movie came out:

I would love to get a tiny, tiny black mousehead somewhere as a hidden (and secret!) Mickey. Dh is not fond of tattoos - I wonder if he would ever even notice it. I'm talking tiny - like 1/4 inch or smaller.

I've got the Mickey from the Gateway to WDW on my hip/back...this one:

I got it done in Orlando. And yes, it hurt! Whn I took the bandage off there was a mickey-shaped blood outline :( , but I can laugh about that now!

Don't think I'll be posting a photo though! :lmao:

I have a Tinkerbell tattoo on the top of my spine. The picture (if I did this correctly) is taken at an angle because the flash kept bouncing of of my blinding white skin. I got the tattoo done in Germany. When I was at the parks people kept stopping me to ask where I got the rub on (do I take that as a compliment or not :confused3 )I told them that it was real and I got in done in Germany, needless to say many people including some CM's thought I meant in EPOCT.

hello~

I really want to get my tattoo when I am actually down at Disney. Has anyone used an artist in Orlando? :confused3 I want to get a black Minnie head with the red bow and polka dots on my upper back left shoulder. Any recommendations would be appreciated!:)
