Disney TA conference

I don't know if this is where I'd post this, but was curious if any TA's on here are going to be attending the conference this year at Disneyland. I just became a TA recently and this will be my first time attending the conference and first time GOING TO DISNEYLAND. I am so excited about being a TA, going to a Disney conference(was a Disney CM for 5 yrs before), and finally going to Disneyland.

My wife was a travel agent with the Northern Califonia AAA for a few years and went to at least one of their travel conferences in Anaheim.

Disney did good for them because the year before they were the AAA Club of the year. Lots of swag and lots of fun including some great parties. Even had Disneyland president (at that time) Matt Ouimet join them for a performance of "Aladdin".

I will look for you lindym. I am planning on flying in on the 14th and leaving on the 19th. I want to do the pre-conference tour and post conference tour.

I will be attending the EarMarked Conference this year for the first time.

Flying in on the 12th and then we are driving to Vegas on the 21st for a couple of days. Flying home from there. Looking forward to it. This will be my first EarMarked Conference too. It would be great if they celebrate their fifth year anniversary bigger and better then last year. They gave everyone a 3 day Disney cruise!

I wish I could attend, but can't. We are going to be in LA on 8/14 to sail on The Magic on the 17th. I couldn't swing another trip, even one for work, so soon after a vacation.

I return from my east coast ABD vacation on the 11th and turn right around and fly out to LA on the 13th. Really looking forward to it. The video from last year on disneytravelagents.com (which is where the link is BTW!) makes it look like QUITE the event. I did the on-site training at WDW last December and several agents there had been to the EarMarked Conference. They just raved about it. Getting a free cruise didn't hurt either!

Is anyone doing any of the tours? Walk in Walt's Footsteps? Discover the Magic? The tours of the Suites?

It's under Sales & Marketing and then Disney's EarMarked Program. If your agency is designated as EarMarked by Disney, you should find it there. If you don't see it, then you should probly check with your District Sales Manager. Good luck!

It sure didn't!

I'm scheduled for the following:

09/13 1:30 - 2:30 Pirates fo the Caribbean Suite & Disnyland Dream Suite Tour. I originally requested this for 09/14 and was wait listed but they opened it up for the 13th and sent me an e-mail asking if I wanted it.

09/15 10:15 to 1:15 Walk in Walts Footsteps

09/15 1:00 - 2:00 WAIT LISTED Micky Mouse Penthouse & Disneyland Dream Suite, I don't know what our owner was thinking because this overlaps with Walk in Walts Footstep by 15 minutes.

09/15 2:45 - 5:45 Discover the Magic Tour

I would have loved to go on the studio tour on the 18th but I think my husband will be ready to hit the parks by then since he won't be able to attend any of the conference events.

Anyone going to be on any of my tours?

What breakout sessions are you scheduled for?
