Disney T shirts :( just back

I am an XL so am excited to hit Uniqlo. It also helps with the hellish CND exchange rate to get the shirts for the kids at reasonable prices.

Congrats to those who have lost the weight!! I work to keep it off and Disney is a really good impetus towards that goal. Leaving in 3 hours, 15 lbs lighter in the last 3 months.

I just wish they'd have some "Pooh sized" shirts for women. There's a lot of plus size women in their fan base, it's a shame they don't have anything for us to buy.
I totally agree no pooh sized tshirts for us anywhere in disneyworld. I think they need to start offering us some tshirts, geez just not fair

I found that even with the shirts that they DO carry in 3X, often there isn't one on the rack anywhere, but if you ask a CM, they can usually bring one out from the back.

The selection for 3X is fairly limited though. The last couple of years I've visited, I was in 3X, and somewhat disappointed by the limited choices.

Outside of Disney World, the choices for 3X are even more limited, and for the most part, the designs available stink!

I decided that there was really only one way to solve that problem, and have lost ~ 80 lbs over the course of the last year. I should have no problem finding shirts this year :)
Well done! that's fantastic!

Hope you find some shirts that you love!

Thank you! I found a few last summer that I loved at a gift shop out on I-Drive, but they weren't nearly big enough. I look forward to returning to those shops again this summer :)

I really don't like that super thin material so many of the women's shirts are made of. They don't seem to use it much for the men's or generic "adult" shirts. It doesn't wear well at all, and a lot of it is very sheer as well. I have a couple really cute Flower and Garden women's shirts from more than a decade ago that were made from standard knit material, and they are still in virtually mint condition even though they get a lot of wear. Then I have one I bought a couple years ago where it looks like moths have been snacking on it, but it's just the fabric wearing out. I've been sticking with the generic adult shirts until they improve the quality of the material on the women's shirts.

I was actually surveyed in Epcot about a year ago regarding the quality of clothing sold at WDW. They had samples of a couple child costumes and a couple t-shirts, and I was quite blunt about what the quality issues were. The costume didn't even have any hems on the sleeves or skirt! And the t-shirts looked like something I bought in the 70's and had relegated to my cleaning rag bag. The guy doing the survey agreed that they certainly weren't up to the usual Disney standards.

It's funny, because I saw a ton I liked. Most of them were Twenty-Eight & Main though, but I really love that line. They have socks now! Those shirts are also more expensive, so I like to wait for a sale on the web.

I am really starting to like the Twenty-Eight & Main collection myself. Next year i will be buying a few for our trip!

I saw some (non Dis) shirst at Uniqlo last week and couldnt find anything larger than an M...not happy.

I agree too that the women's selection are thin and seem cheap, while the men's tshirts and sweats are heavy duty. Doesn't seem right.
