You can get "buttons" in the scrap book section of a craft store. Just peel the sticky thing off the back.

I have been looking for a photo of this bracelet for days? With no luck, can anyone direct me? Thanks missy

This one?

oh dear, if it's this one, it's super easy to make :)

Just print it out and head to Hobby Lobby. Pick out the beads you would like and then head over to the scrapbooking section and you will find those mickey buttons there, but they have a sticky back pad on them. Peel those off and then you are set to use them!!

This is a very cute bracelet! I think i will try it when i get over to the store again!

You will also need some chain to make the bracelet part.
Make sure you buy a pack of tiny beads for the end caps of the Mickey buttons & then you will need a pack of 2in head pins. Go for the 70pc jumbo pack, because if it's your first time, they may break easily.

The only tools you should need are wire cutters, and 2 pairs of pliers! That's what I usually use.

HTH someone!

Thank you so much for the photo! I really appreciate it! Now I am going to make a post for the person who made the clay mickey ears...cant find them anymore either....:confused3

Alright it is a TIME CONSUMING bracelet, but i finished it! I added more things to it and a couple different mickey beads too! My camera is not a goodo ne, so sorry about the bluriness of the photos!!

Now I find this thread. It took me a week to figure out how to make this bracelet. Actually, I ran out of the 2in pins and the 1 inch are too small.

Are those clear green mickey shaped beads on that bracelet in addition to the buttons? If so, do you mind sharing where you found them?

Yes the mickey beads are in addition to them, I bought the beads awhile ago in Disney World, on a necklace and took it apart. :)

Yes the 1inch pins are way too small to make the wraps. I was afraid to run out that's why i bought the 70 pack :)

Thanks! Great idea -- wonder if I can score some beads on ebay. I would love to make her a black, red, white and yellow one too.

As for the pins- I had 2 32 packs of the 2 inch - but ran out -- I am really loading it up. I'm using the swirl beads, mickey buttons and 2 sizes of the bling bling beads. DH says it is too much - but DD says keep adding. It's for her - so I'll listen to her.

To everyone:

You will have quite a bit of stuff left over, but here is a general listing and price guide to make this bracelet. You will also need your jewelry making tools :) (Prices are based on Hobby Lobby NON-Sale* priced items)

1> Pack of jewelry Chain (buy whichever you would like, but they sell it in the beading/findings aisle) 2.99
1> Pack of Clasps (they come in a pack of 2) .99
1> Pack of 70pc Head Pins (2inch) 2.99
1> Pack of Mickey Head Buttons (in the scrapping section) 3.99
1>Small pack of O-Rings (small/medium sized) .99
1>Tube of misc. swirl and glass beads 2.99
1>SMALL pack of small crystal beads (i used clear like in the picture)1.99
1> Small pack of misc. buttons (scrapbooking section and I added these extra, not in the original bracelet) 3.99
1> Small pack of colorful round beaded beads (the big clunky ones in the picture i added these myself too) .99
I also added the green mickey head beads, just to make the fringe bracelet a little chunkier :)

TOTAL: 17.00-22.00 (this depends on the added 3.99 buttons & Clunky round beaded beads)

It takes about 2hrs to put it together.

AND you will have some crystal beads, head pins, beaded beads, swirly beads buttons and chain left over. You will NOT have any mickey buttons left.

*NOTE: On www.HobbyLobby.com there is a coupon for 40% any one item. I used it on the Mickey head buttons as they were the priciest items*

I will when I get it done. HL and WallyWorld are too far to run to daily -- I have to get more 2 inch pins to finish.

Lucky you! I'm also looking at Dena's latest posting on the custom outfit thread. That fabric for the small world outfit is awesome and DD loves it - so looks like I'll have to swing by Hancock's too.

 hahahha!! I'm just getting the sewing theing under my belt, so i'm not very good :) i'm more the jewelry making type :)

I'm neither. :rotfl: I bought a sewing machine just because DH stopped me from spending so much on the custom ebay outfits. I made my first item last weekend -- a pooh baby blanket -- it took me over 30 minutes to figure out how to thread the machine.

I have a stash of fabric though. I'm good at buying the stuff - now I just have to sit down and start doing it.
