Disney Swan and Dolphin Entertainment card discount

Hey guys- I am moving this question to here from the Disney Resorts section, since I think you guys would know more about it. I have been hearing that there are huge discounts to Disney Swan and Dolphin using an Entertainment book card. Has anyone ever done this? Are there blackout dates? I am planning on calling them,, but I just wanted to see if anyone had done it before, and how it worked out for them.

In the Entertainment Book I just got (NJ North/Morris Area), there is a 10% off best available rate coupon, with the only blackout dates being 12/25 - Jan 1, valid through 12/24/14.
