Hello all! My parents are taking my sister and I to Disney world for Christmas...(my sister is 16 and does not remember her first trip, and they are nice enough to still claim me as their "child" even tho I am 22).. As a thank you we wanted to put together a "disney survival kit" for them as a Christmas present. We want this kit to be mostly humorous... We already have some ideas (ex-lax, ear plugs, the movie "vacation").. But I was wondering if you all have any suggestions...??

Shoe inserts (get the Powerstep Pinnacle ones so they are useful too), mini bottles of alcohol, Disney Maps, funny personalized Disney t-shirts. That's all I have for now.

A fleece jacket with a Universal Studios logo
An itsey-bitty, teensy-weeney, yellow polka dot bikini.
$50 cash...in quarters wrapped in Disney stickers.
A full set of park maps...from 1989 plus a copy of the 2013 MNSSHP map.
A Mountain House backpacker MRE of Mac&Cheese (say it is gift for Remey at Chefs De France) don't forget the pack of paper matches.
Pocket hand-warmers and sock warmers.
Flip-flops inside thick wooly socks.
Bottle of sun block three-fourths empty.
A copy of your birth certificate...framed of course.
All inside a third grader's school backpack with a Disney Princes theme...A PINK ONE.

Love the idea of the pink backpack!!

I like the idea of the shoe inserts! My dad does have feet problems....

Peppermint foot lotion. It's a godsend after a day of walking. Not that humorous, but REALLY practical.

A bottle (or 2) or 5 hour energy, a mousetrap ( to catch Mickey and bring him home with them.), pixie dust and tiaras....even for your Dad.pixiedust:

*hand sanitizer
*pocket pack of Kleenex
*autograph book and pen (for when they meet characters)
*disposable camera covered in Disney stickers
*ID bracelet -- some sort of cheap silicon bracelet, like LiveStrong, where you write your cell phone number on the underside in Sharpie marker -- in case your parents get lost in the park, teach them to go to a CM and show them that phone number
*glow bracelets or glow sticks
*Depends diaper

Hot chocolate packets
Burt's Bees or some good lip moisturizer-wind protection
Immodium
Small can of air freshener for the powder room

Yellow ponchos
Wool socks
Ear muffs--360 kind! Sometimes it is very cold in December
A mini tree that you can decorate

Loved all these ideas! Esp the mouse trap to "take mickey home with us" . That's hilarious!

A Mickey Mouse or Princess nightlight for the bathroom. (Sold at Dollar Tree)
A flashlight for checking bed bugs...haha
Pins for trading. (Check ebay...not trying to start a scrapper conversation)
Sewing kit
Personal fan
Rolaids

Dollar Tree has a lot of Disney themed stuff.
I especially like the idea of a Disney word search puzzle book with Disney pens/pencils/crayons.

I saw some one beat me to a Tiara! Dad could have a pirate hat or eye patch.

Definitely Disney bandaides!!!!

I even think there was packages of Pixie dust or you could make your own with glitter.

Check Walmart too for Disney items.

GUM....Disney doesn't sell gum. That is assuming your parents will dispose of it properly. What about even one of those draw string back packs.
Do they carry cell phones? If you have a "Five Below" they had some fun cases for cell phones. I got a fun Wallet that holds my cell phone too.
Well I guess it's a wristlet.

Love the idea of writing your cell number in a rubber bracelet incase they get lost. Or you can make some stickers on the computer or make a button that says "Call XXX if lost". You know those buttons that snap apart.

What about a coffee mug. Craft stores sell those design your own also.

I forget where but I found the Mickey pocket tissues.

Vacation journal or scrapbook

endless ideas. What I do is in my "free time" is just roam around the store and look for ideas instead of going into the store with already planned ideas.

And of course you can't resist stopping at a Disney Store or ordering on line their favorite character mini plushy.

Have a blast!!!

I love all these ideas!

We've been over Christmas (a couple of years ago we packed all 4 of us into a BWV one bedroom, yikes that was cramming us all in) and I bought a little tree at Target the first day - brought everything else. We had gone right before Christmas many years ago, so I had little lights and tiny Disney ornaments, so maybe ornaments?

I love the little bottles of booze idea, but that's just me :)

I'd check the dollar store and the local Disney store (if you have one) occasionally to see what they have. Even would be cute to get Disney puzzles or even crayons and coloring books - have fun with it!

Oh, I like all the Christmas-y ideas!

Maybe you can find some Santa or elf hats and instead of putting your names on it, maybe each put the name of a different dwarf.

That's a good idea! I thought of Santa hats with mickey ears ... (I saw them on Pinterest) but I haven't been able to find them online!
