Where can I find some good information on the suites at the Disney resorts. I need to compare layouts, # of rooms, bathrooms, and prices. We were planning on getting 3 concierge rooms at the Poly for our 3 "groups": my family of 4, in-laws and sis-in-law who must have her own room  . I was thinking that a suite would not be that huge of jump (hopefully:D ) in price.

Any and all information or direction is appreciated. I need to make this decision pretty soon.

One more (silly) question: any discounts ever available with the suites? We're still waiting for the new codes...so the price jump might be bigger if we get a discount on Poly concierge, but not on a suite. Thanks!

here's a site with pictures of different disney suites. there are no prices listed or layouts shown, but it does give you a good idea of how the suites are set up.

Have you thought about OKW grand vilas? They sleep 12 and you would have the full kitchen, laundry area, and a lot of room to spread out. You can book them or rent someone's DVC points.

Suites aren't discounted and you can expect to pay considerably higher for a suite the size you need than for 3 separate rooms.

I'm in the process of adding the 2003 rates for the suites I have on my site and should be finished in about 1/2 hour. I gave a price range from the lowest (value season) to the highest (holiday season).

Keep in mind that there are a lot more suites at WDW than the ones that I have pictured.

My choice, also, would be a Grand Villa. :)

***********- you have some amazing pictures on your site! I would love to stay in a suite, but it made me realize its just not affordable for me. We really need more room because my dh is a terrible snorer! He definetly must have more than just a regular room. I will continue to look, I have my eye on the wildnerness cabins.
Or I could just save my money for the next, oh lets say 3 or 4 years and maybe I can afford one of those beautiful suites! HA!

Castlehappy-- My husband is also a terrible snorer and we are staying at the Wilderness Cabins as a result. They can sleep 6 people-- although 2 to a double bed can be quite cozy if you're not used to it. They're a great value and the resort is very peaceful. My daughter's girl scout troop went to WDW in late June, 2001 and we had 5 cabins with 25 people. The entire time we were there, we never saw any other person on our loop. We know there were other people because we could see their cars parked in front.

The only downside I see to this resort is that their pools are just rectangular holes in the ground. If you really enjoy a themed pool, Ft. Wilderness might not be for you.

*********** and tikiman your pictures are great- it made me wish I was there again. Thanks- can't wait for our next trip

Loved the pictures. We're still deciding. I'm also trying to decide if I should get an AP this weekend since the codes are (hopefully!) coming soon.

Tikiman--in the 2 BR suite, is there a pull out in the "LR" or are there only the day beds like in the room? We need a comfortable bed for a certain high maintenance member in our group.

If you are talking about the 2 bedroom Princess they are just the day beds that are in the standard rooms. The Ambassador Suites do have a siko (Murphy) bed that folds out of the wall in the living room and two day beds. The Ambassador also has two bedrooms. One having two queens and one having a King.

Have you looked into the DVC Villas? You can check out the floor plans on disney.com. If you think you may be interested, I would suggeest you go to the DVC board and ask any questions you may have. They also have a board where you can get hold a DVC member who wants to rent out thier points. You can get a good price for the rooms that way.

TrixyA- thanks for the suggestion. We are really considering the cabins. We are planning a trip for February and it seems the cabins will be ideal and very affordable. There will be 4 of us, and we really like the idea of cooking in some. We always stay at a moderate resort, but we have been putting our money away and would really like some extra room with this trip.
Either way I can't wait to go!!
