Disney Subscription Boxes

Feel free to move this is there is a more appropriate place to post this. Has anyone tried any subscription boxes? I'm curious what everyone thinks? Are they worth it or would you just spend that money on disneystore.com or the shop Disney app? If you like any, which company gives you the best bang for your buck? Are there any that are specifically "non plush"? Thanks!!

I dont know much about the current boxes official or un.... I know Funko is doing a bi monthly Disney box in the vein of Smugglers Bounty/Collectors Corp/Legion of Collectors sometime this spring

The official ones were worth it if you are a collector. I did the parkpac of pins the first time it was offered, the Disneyland anniversay parkpac, and I was a long time subscriber of the tsumtsum subscription. All of those were worth it because you got stuff that was exclusive to that box.

Now the unofficial ones I looked into because hey I love Disney and I love my subscription boxes (we have gotten smugglers bounty, the marvel one, nerdblok, and lootcrate over the years). The unofficial ones are a terrible deal. They do not guarentee the worth of what is sent, many things procured for the boxes are bought when they are heavily discounted and at the outlets, also a lot of it is filler junk from the Target $1 bins. That has been the case for every single one I've looked into and watched unboxings for. Also every box makes you pay for shipping based on the weight so it fluxes. Since that is the case I'd rather buy from shop parks or Disney store and get things I actually want.

I am enjoying the official coin subscription a lot more than I expected too. The ornaments have been nice but they are almost all mickey hat style and I'm getting close to stopping that one as they aren't the cheapest way to get them and you can only fit so many on the tree.

The unofficials, there has been some disunplugged minisodes on them and it's pretty easy to search for others unboxing them on youtube to get an idea whats in them.
