I just came back from doing some shopping and I found some great stuff at Dollar Tree. Especially for those of you that like to put together little surprise bags. I can't believe some of these are just a $1

Cinderella 8pk crayons ,4 packs in package
Mickey, Pooh, or Princess 4 pk of pencils
Mickey, Pooh, or Princess 3 pack of erasers ; they are shapes and are about
1" x 1 1/2"
Disney Magic Artist Princess glitter glue pens, 5 in package, by Bic
Disney Magic Artist Pooh 8 pk washable markers, by Bic
Disney Magic Artist Pooh 12 pk colored pencils, by Bic
Cinderella post its, very small pack (I felt these were not worth it)
Hard cover wirebound noteboks 8 different designs of Princesses, Pooh, &
Mickey.

If you were having a Cinderella birthday party the crayons, pencils, erasers, and notebooks would be neat loot bag stuffers and over in bridal area they have glass slipper favors that you could put a few candies in and wrap up in some tulle. Where was all of this when I did my DD's Cindy party???

Also at Dollar Daze they have the 8 pack of retractable Sharpie markers for $2. I don't know how they can do it but I opened mine up and they all work.
We are using the hard cover notebooks and the Sharpies for autographs on our vacation.

Enjoy the bargains--I did :earboy2:

Wow, great finds. THanks for sharing!! (LOVE the slipper idea..)

I found the mickey notebooks at my doller tree a few weeks ago. I picked up two one with just mickey on the cover and one with minnie and mickey togeather on the cover. I plan to use one for autographs and one for journeling. Also at doller tree they had 4 packs of short chunky pens that go on your keyring. Thought these would be convienent for autographs.

My local dollar tree also had the books that teach math, spelling, and all that. They had them with the princesses and also with Pumba & Timon. Got some for my son (kindergarten) and my neice (1st grade). Also picked up the princess markers for her. I LOVE these kinds of deals!!!!! :cool1:

Today I found princess washable marker sets, cinderella stamper sets and princess glitter glues..................these will be great surprises to leave in our room with some pixie dust!

Dollar Tree opened near us a couple months ago, and believe it or not, I haven't been yet. I think I'll have to make a stop there tonight since I'll be over that way.

It's been open a few months and you haven't been!!!! :earseek: I wish I had that much self-control. I just stopped in at another one and found the princess markers. I picked these up so my DD could give them to her two best friends as presents from Disney. Only 22 more days!!!! :earboy2:

Well see...everytime I thought about stopping there, they weren't open yet. Then when they did open, I just haven't had a chance because I'm usually rushed to go elsewhere or I don't really have money on me and I know that if I go in, there's no way I'd be walking out empty handed...so the lack of money kept me away.

I hear ya! I have often joked that they should change their name to the $10 Dollar Tree because that is what it always seem to cost me. Even if I only go in with one thing in mind it's like oooohhh look at this. :scratchin

Thanks for the heads up. Just an FYI, but if any of you are scrapbookers, they usually have a great selection of paper (6 12x12 sheets in a package) and stickers for of course, $1.00. I've also picked up packages of glow in the dark stuff - the last set had 2 necklaces and 2 bracelets in EACH package.

Today at my Dollar Tree I found Disney Word Find books. They had two kinds - one for Disney Animated movies, the other was for Disney Live Action movies. I picked up one of each to go in adult goody bags but they would work for kids, too...maybe ages 9 up, possibly younger if your child is a good reader. We like to do these on car trips or down time in the room. I bought some more sticky notes with Mickey on them...those always come in handy.

I saw some packaged miniature princess playsets there. They contained Cinderella and Prince Charming characters (about 2 1/2- 3 inches high), the carriage, a white horse, some shrubbery...all pieces were plastic. Another set had Sleeping Beauty and her prince (I've gone blank on his name at the moment!), her bed, shrubbery, and another item (I'm drawing another blank on just what it was).

Not from Dollar Tree but I went by Wal Mart and found knee high socks with Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger for $2.88 each They also had crew socks with the same characters. Disney character caps were on clearance for $1.00 so I got two with Mickey on it...for my son and my dad to go in their goody bags. They had some cute Tink ones, too, but none of the girls in our group wear caps.
