We are leaving for DW tomorrow and plan on renting a Disney stroller. With Ike possibly on the way, I'm wondering about touring the parks in the rain. Is there an easy way to cover up the stroller rentals? Will the standard rain covers for other strollers work?

nope, probably not. I suggest getting a clear shower curtain and some clip on clothespins

Or buy an extra poncho at the dollar store and bring some clothespins.

A clear plastic poncho with binder clips can work. The stroller is hard plastic so if it does get too wet you can just get a towel or some napkins and wipe it out. If it gets totally soaked bring it back to the rental place and they will replace it with a dry one :)

Last year when it rained we attached a clear cheap poncho over the top and clipped it with clothespins. The kids (in a double rental) covered legs with another poncho. Seemed to work great, the kids never got wet or complained. We also brought a chamoise (sp) towel with us to dry the stroller seat if it happend to get wet.
