We're going to be in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Does anyone know if there's a Disney store in or near Oak Lawn? And if so, where?

Our local Disney store closed right before the buyout, so it's been a while since we've had a chance to shop at a Disney store.

Thanks much!

First let me qualify this answer with this disclaimer: This has been a really bad summer and fall and I haven't been able to spend my quality time at the mall to confirm if these stores are still open. That being said: From Oak Lawn, the closest Disney store would be in the Chicago Ridge Mall (oops, it's now a Westfield mall, but us old-timers will always call it CR). From there, you can go to Oak Brook or to Orland Park, depending on whether you are travelling north or south. If you are heading towards Oak Brook, there's also also a Disney Store at Yorktown (Lombard) which isn't too far away (right down 22ns street).

Have Fun Shopping :wave2:

Thank you for the information!

Sorry to hear you've had a rough time lately.

Orland Park was closed for remodeling. Haven't been at the mall recently to know if it's open again.

I was there 2 weeks ago and it is not opened yet but I imagine that they should have it ready soon for the holiday season.

Hi, Juliah - not quite sure how far you want to travel, but I know that there are Disney Stores at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Spring Hill Mall in West Dundee (I was a CM at this store for 7 years before the sale to TCP) and CherryVale Mall in Rockford. Two out of the three of these stores are considered in the Chicago 'burbs. Hope you find one!
