Disney Store! =)

I was at the Disney Store yesterday buying some pens and things for my trip this August. When the cashier rang us up he was very cheerful. I paid by credit card and where most people tell you to sign by the "x" he drew a mickey head and told us to sign by the mickey! Then we left and he said have a magical day! This just made me miss disney 100000x more and so much more excited for our trip!!!!

Haha thats awsome. Unfortunatly, the Disney Store by us closed about 2-3 years ago. There's one thats about an hour away, so we only go there on "special occasions".

When I worked at TDS, we always asked for "autographs", not signatures.

wow! Disney stores over here in the UK don't do that....but then again many Brits are too miserable to get in the Disney spirit on a shopping trip on a rainy day...I can't wait till my year as a CM, it's going to be so refreshing being with people who actually WANT to share magic all the time

I worked at TDS about 12 years ago and we always asked for people's autograph. People were also surprised when we called them guests. Sometimes we were so over the top, but that's because we had "secret shoppers" and were graded on our performance as well as other store factors . If our store received all 101 points, then we got a 101 puppy pin. Unfortunatley while i was there we never received the pin. It was really hard to be friendly to everyone all the time, especially when you had those difficult guests. It was sometimes hard to suck it up and smile on days when you didn't feel like it. It was fun to see the excitement of the kids faces when they came into the store. Ours was new at the time. It was a fun job for the most part and the CM's were great to work with.
