Disney Store Square One 75% off Sale

Hi, just got in from the DS at Square One. They have some Halloween costumes on a 75% off sale. They have:

Malificent Dragon: $55.00 reg on sale about $14.00
Bear (BBB): $55.00 reg on sale about $14.00
these are in various kids sizes 3/4 4/6T but they look HUGE, I thought the 4/6T was adult.

Lots of Dress up POOH customes for babies 6/12 mo, they looked really big too. They were $34.00 reg on sale for about $9.00.

Just a little note: I like most of the CM's at this store but there are about three of them that I really have trouble with. They are rude and unfriendly. Perhaps I am just being sensitive, but I am a pretty easy going type and very friendly, so when I encounter rudeness and unfriendliness, I take offence, especial when I'm dealing with Disney. I think I am going to write them a note.

Hey Sandy - I myself have had a couple of 'run in's' with few of their CM's at Square One...I totally agree!!!

You know what REALLY irks me about them? Its when you KNOW you are right and they think because they work for Disney and you dont that they know more....ugghh!!!

Last week I was inquiring about the 7 day hopper, second at half price deal and they told me it didnt exsist!!! UHGGHHH! and then I had this 'villionaire' coupon from disney.com (I beat Gaston for a villion dollars - AKA: $10.00 gift certificate to TDS) It took this girl like 20 minutes to call 100 people BEFORE she would honour it - I was SO mad!!!

Funny thing....I was there last night also - I probably walked right past you and didn't know that it was you...lol...it truly is a Small World after all huh?

Hi Christine, thanks for writing! I have had a couple of SO NICE CM's at that DS, especially around Halloween, one dressed like BEAR and ds followed her around, she was very very nice. But the 2 or 3 that are miserable make me not want to go there. Today, the guy in front of me in line spent $1300 on 5 day hopper passes. The CM didn't mention the 7 day special. I wanted to, but I didn't. I thought the CM would get very very mad at me, when it was my turn she was rude and mean. I felt small and embarassed. If I didn't want ds's gift so much, I would have walked out of the store. I sometime feel like they are following me around, I guess b/c my kids are young. Actually, my kids are sooooooo excellent in the DS. They listen to me and are polite. I think I am going to write a letter. Thanks for your reply! S

I would have told the guy about the discount - believe me - the CM's don't even know about it!
Last night I asked and she said 'no - we havent heard of anything of that sort'...oh I just couldnt be bothered and would rather purchase them elsewhere...

I see that you are going to WDW in April - that is when my fiancee and I are going for our honeymoon - we have ressis at GF - but unless some GREAT discount come out, it will be way to expensive for us...I see that you have stayed at CBR - I was just looking at that resort about an hour ago - how is it? would you stay there again? Why or why not? If not - any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Just to let you guys know the CM's at the Disney store really dont know about the special.I was asking about it at the Hamilton store and 3 of them told me that they havent received any info about it yet.The District Manager was trying to find out the details as a few customers have asked about it.It always seems that the CM's are the last to know.In fact they asked me about a month ago what I had read about any special(of course I had the info for them as I had read it here on the DIS,hehehe)

Hi Christine, congrats on your upcoming wedding! We loved CBR. I was hesitant at first to book it, because of negative reviews. I like service and thought I might be disappointed ~ I had my heart set on CBR, just one of those things, couldn't get the place out of my head. WELL! LOVE LOVE IT! Now let me tell you, I didn't know about codes and I paid rack rate $175.00 USF ($300.00 CDN per night X 7 nights) it was worth every penny! The service was great, the grounds were beautiful, the pools were fun and the food court was great! I would definately stay there again. In April, we don't want to pay more that $99 USF per night, so that means if no codes we stay at ALL STARS OR POP. If codes, we'd like to try Coronado Springs. GF is soooooooooooooooo pretty. We visited it twice in April 2001, once for dd's Wonderland Tea Party with Alice and the second for the Mary Poppins (+) char meal! VERY NICE! We took the *little* boat from MK, it was fun. We definately like trying all the Disney transportation (never taken the bus thou)! BTW, I e-mailed Disney regarding the poor service at DS Square One. Chat soon! S

Thankyou for the information about the sale :0) Maybe your letter will arrive the same time as the one were sending. Their are a couple of great cm's there but their is also a few who always seem rude and try to rip you off.

Sandra - I'm glad you got a quick reply from Disney. I don't go to the Square 1 Disney Store that often, but I've usually met up with very nice CMs at both the Yorkdale Mall and Fairview Mall stores. Maybe they have more of a "customer" focus if the person in charge of hiring happens to have that perspective. I have to admit that I'm also really shocked when I encounter rude service in a Disney Store.

Hi, Can anyone tell me if the disney store in square one, sell mens golf type knit with button placket at neckline? I bought hubby one last year at limeridge mall in hamilton, but this year they no longer sell adult clothing.
