Disney Store shipping to Canada.... Or where to get pins

Hi there,

I am looking to buy some pins in Canada. I understand the Disney store doesn't carry them. I see Disney Store online carries them, but shipping to Canada is 39.95???!!!!

Is there any way to ship to Canada cheaper or somewhere else to buy the pins locally?

DW is a regular trader on eBay where you can get just about any pin you want for a price and with a bit of patience. Pin trading online is a very reasonably priced hobby, and her collection now numbers in the high hundreds if not thousands. It takes a bit of research to find sellers who are completely honest, so watch the scores and length of time trading. Even the best traders will occasionally pass you a fake, but then we've gotten obvious fakes while trading with CM's at Disney parks too. Despite a few fakes spoiling the market, it really is a fun hobby. Most sellers have reasonable shipping, and will combine won auctions into a single shipment for a single fee. DW often bids several auctions in a row from a single seller to reduce shipping costs.

We often buy "box lots" before trips to Disney. There are always a few true treasures in the lot, and then many, many remaining traders to use at the parks.

Just search DISNEY PIN BOOSTER or something similar to that on ebay and you will find plenty of sellers who are selling NEW IN PACKAGE pins like you are after! Though it might require some work to find one that will ship to Canada and if they do not be ridiculously priced to ship! But it is possible as I've bought plenty!

DO you have even ONE friend in the states??? I've run into similar problems with various items and refuse to pay shipping that is more than the item. Get the item shipped to someone in the states and have them pop it in regular mail and send it as a "gift". Often Disney store on-line has free-shipping sales and i have lots of FB & DIS friends who are willing to "piggy-back" my items with their orders

If you live anywhere near a border crossing, most US border cities have a store that acts as a receiving centre. You can get parcels shipped there, then you drive over and pick them up. All you have to do is pay their fee (the place I use in Ogdensburg NY is $5) plus HST when you bring it back across the border.
