I was at the Disney Store yesterday and they have adult tees on for 7.99 and kids (boys) tanks on for 5.99. Just thought I'd pass that along.

While I'm posting about bargains, at Dollarama they have disney character face cloths, pooh bear learning cards, disney princess stickers & bottle straps (for carrying your water bottles) all for 1.00 :)

There was an interesting article in the National Post over a year ago about some of the "bargains" we might find in dollar stores and other such bargain places. Much of the "licensed" material was, in fact, counterfeit stuff imported from east Asia and some of it was quite dangerous. (used bandages in stuffed animals, highly flammable, shock hazards in battery operated products.) I avoid licensed products in dollar stores -- I know it costs a little more than $1 to pay the copyright.

I know they aren't official Disney stuff, but I think stickers, Mickey shaped notebooks, pooh cards will be perfectly safe & my kids will get them as gifts on our trip & be thrilled and I'll have saved some money. ;)

It may be a naive position to hold and someone is almost duty-bound to respond "I think Disney will have made lots of money from me on this trip", but I believe the rightful owners of copyright deserve to be paid the money for their product. FWIW, in regards to Pooh products, that isn't Disney. The purchase of counterfeit products is just as much theft as is taking a properly licensed product without paying for it. Either way, the rightful owner doesn't get paid.
As for stickers made overseas without the supervision of Canadian standards regulators -- I wouldn't trust any chemical used in adhesives.
But it's your conscience, your money and the health of your children.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Disney Store sale. I hope you have a wonderful trip. :D
I don't really think it's anyone's place to judge another person by where they shop or what they buy. For a minute, I thought the debate board had been resurrected.:(
