Well I have placed an order with Target online They are having a 20% off (on orders over $75) on apparel so I bought my girls are a few tops, coloured jeans, matching dresses - all up just over $100. It will have to sit at SSR for 2 months! I will place a Disney Store order closer to the time - hopefully they will have another sale before November And I want to get winter coats (for Washington and NY) from Lands End too...

has anyone had anything sent from the disney store to australia?

there is a specific lanyard that i can only find at the disney store... not in parks, and not on ebay or at other retailers.

4 x lanyards = approx $32, but disneystore.com want $49 for postage... and that makes the price seem absurdly obscene, so i have resigned myself to not being able to get the lanyards i want ...

are there ever any discounts on international shipping or any way around paying this absurdly inflated shipping price???

I used to get things shipped here, but the shipping charge has gone up so much that it is no longer viable. I have never seen a discount for shipping overseas. The shipping charge is based on the dollar value not the weight, so the only way ‘around’ the charge is to buy when things are on sale, however the minimum shipping charge to Australia and New Zealand is still $39.50.

On touring plans chat people have mentioned a Disney Personal Shopper (if you search on facebook she comes up) and she buys people food items etc and ships them. I have never used her service and I'm not sure if she will post internationally but it is an option to look into...

I was on last night and got a few more gift cards! Love those things!!!

There was a few hundred items on sale so got a few more things there too!!!

I didn't see anything mentioned re labor day sale but we can only hope!!!

do you all only buy from disneystore when you can have packages delivered to your hotel?

there is no way i am paying $50 for shipping here to australia, and i just got the go ahead to start planning our september 2013 trip, so am thinking anything i buy will have to be delivered to our wdw hotel which means that i can't start shopping online until june-ish next year

so much shopping i want to do, too much time until i can actually start shopping

I've been squizzing the site overnight and now I'm in a quandry. Ladies, do you think that the teachers at Kindy would each like a DCL Mickey Watch as a present from the USA? My kids move off to school in late November and people normally give stuff to the teachers. So I thought the DCL watch as we are on the Wonder on our Mickey holiday. They are a good deal at the moment with another 25% off. We arrive next Sat, so my hotel wouldn't have to hold them for long. Thoughts?
