Disney Store Sale!

Right now at the Disney Store, they are selling DVD's for $10. Not the most current releases, but most everything else. Don't know how long the sale is going to last.

Just got back from there! I got Dinosaur, Great Mouse Detective, Tarzan and Jane (the only way I would buy it is for $10), and Mickey's house of Villians. I also pre-ordered Lilo and Stitch and used my gift card from Beauty and the Beast.
It's the first time I got to take advantage of one of these sales.

I'm going to make a trip in after work. Maybe I'll be lucky this time. I missed the sale the last time.

If anyone is interested, they also have costumes for 33% off.
I refused to spend 45.50 for DS to be a Dinosaur. After the 33% and the DC discount we ended up getting it for 27.00. Thats much more reasonable, I thought.

I missed out on the last sale. SO......I sent DH on his lunch break!! He got Toy Story, Toy Story II, Alice in Wonderland, A Winnie the Pooh DVD, preordered Lilo and Stitch and got the $10 gift card.....all for 64.94. Would have been less if I had renewed my Disney Club Card last month but I can't see the use for it anymore. All in all it was a pretty good day. DD is watching Alice in Wonderland right now. She's in bed sick today so this was a good pick me up for her. The rest got put up for christmas presents. Just the right size for stocking stuffers.

I just got back! Learning from last sale, I took off from work long enough to get down there and get some DVDs.

I found Atlantis, Alice in Wonderland, and Return to Neverland on sale. I thought about Pooh but decided to wait on that one until I talk to DH tonight (or until I decide I want it after all and go by there on my way home from work LOL!). I was hoping to also find Hunchback (they only had the sequel, which I didn't like), Adventures of Ichabod & Mr Toad, Oliver & Company, and Great Mouse Detective, but they were out of all of those.

Just got back! Have 5 new DVD's and purchased the New Lilo and Stitch. What a great deal!

No wonder the line was out the door at TDS and people were loading up. I couldn't figure it out! I went in to buy something and the line would have taken and hour to get through!

ok, so I went a little Crazy.....We got Toy Story, Dinosaur, The Rookie(2 of these), Alice in Wonderland, 102 Dalmations movie, Lady and Tramp II,Winnie the Pooh, Emperor's New Groove, School House Rock, Return to Nerverland, Oliver and Co., Fox and the Hound, then picked up our Beauty and the Beast....with my $10 off and Disney Club discount all of them $112.34..Some will be Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers.

Darn! It's 5 minutes to closing and the DS is 15 minutes away! ARRRRGGGG! Maybe they'll extend the sale until tomorrow ... I'd love to buy a couple of DVDs.

As soon as I read the first post of this thread I jumped up to get the phone and call our closest TDS.
I missed this sale the last time too. Not this time........
I picked up 6 movies! Along with a bunch of clothes that were 50% off!!! YAY!!!
And I picked up a really cool Stitch throw blanket for my DH for Christmas.
Plus the Disney Club discount too!!!
Spent a ton of loot....but it was all worth it!!

I wish I would have read this earlier today!! Aaarrrggghhhh!!! I just happened to stop by a TDS at about 8:30 pm. They didn't have any titles that I needed, but said the sale would be going on tomorrow, but they weren't sure how long. So I plan to be there when they open the doors! Thanks for the link to the certificate! I'll have to pull my receipts to see when I bought my last couple movies! I still need one or two of the ones on the list.

I saw this post yesterday evening and before going to dinner with family, I had my hubby drop me off at TDS.

I had 3 $10 gift cards from pre-ordering Monsters and B&B. I bought 7 DVD's and 12 jelly lollipops. The DVD's are for my son's friends birthday gifts and the lollipops make great toppers for gifts(what kid wants a bow)? The lolli's were buy 3 get one free.

TDS gave me my Disney Club discount, so I really made out on the deal.

Store employee told me that the sale is one for one week but last year they sold out in 24 hours.
