Disney Store sale tomorrow!

Saw this posted on the Budget board that most of the redline sale items will be additional 50% off tomorrow and with our DVC 10%.....I think I'm shopping tomorrow!!!!!

They may or may not let you use your DVC discount, so just be prepared. They are not allowing CM's their additional discount on this sale.

Good news! I just went to my store and they did give the DVC discount on top of the sale price.

FWIW ... my store was unable to combine the discounts. They were prepared to ... but the computer refused to accept the DVC discount as there were 50% items already rung up. They had to back out the entire transaction ... and redo as two separate sales: one for the 50% off items, the other for all other items allowing the DVC discount.

I was there today and got some great bargains! They did give me the additional DVC 10% discount on top of the sale prices.

I went tonight(Friday), and purchased a couple of things. When I went to check I handed the CM my DVC card, and she said, "we don't take this anymore." I replied "yes, you do!" and pointed her towards her manager. She then said " I've worked here for 9 years and she's (the manager) only been here 6 months, and she knows more than I do. I wish they would get this discount mess straightened out. I get tired of just hoping the right CM will be there to wait on me so that I get my discount.

we went today (fri) and the cm called to find out how to do the discount (she's been there for a long time) on this sale and she was able to give 10% on top of sale prices.

last time we were in the girl said they don't give dvc discount anymore due to impending sale of stores, i thought this was strange, so i asked today and cm said that they still gave our discount, until sale goes through, then we probably won't get disc anymore since they won't be disney owned anymore. i guess i'll just look at online from then on to see what kind of discounts they are offering at that time. almost wish they would just close brick and mortars so we could save the sales tax.

I went today about lunch time and at first was disappointed...I didn't see any signs about the discount.....CM's were verbally telling of the additional 50% ...once I heard it I went a shoppin'

I did get the extra 10% DVC discount but it took the CM a bit of work to figure out how to do it.

Got 6 bags full of loot and only spent $150.00

My favorite buy was a snowglobe of Ariel and Friends:

mark down $39.99
50% $20.00
10% DVC $18.00 .......I saved $60 off the original price!

It's DD (10 months) first Disney snowglobe and she loves it

Sheesh. I went to TDS in Raleigh (Crabtree Valley Mall) today and the CM stated that no, they just don't have the capibility to do the DVC discount on top of the 50% discount.

Sounds more like they did not have the inclination to find out how to do the discount. Really irritated me.

I went yesterday afternoon and had a new CM. The manager was with her, and they weren't sure if the DVC discount would work or not. They rang up each item, then entered the code for 50% off, then at the end after the subtotal, entered the code for the DVC discount. It took it fine and I even got 10% off my pre-order of Alladin (I didn't think we got it on DVD's).

My order was:
3 adult t's (2 stitch & 1 grumpy)
1 grumpy mug
1 baby donald for our nephew
Pre-order Alladin.

Total was 35 and change. Total cost to me: NOTHING (gotta love disney reward dollars).
